Why do so many of our own Supporters continue to run our Club down? There is a real danger that it will feed back and damage us beyond repair. We had a really decent win against Portsmouth and we have a Manager who bleeds blue and white quartered blood for us. If DC can get a few hungry recruits with the right attitude then that should help us so much more than the crap we used to attract. Lets talk Bristol Rovers up not down.

I don't think anyone on here is saying they'd rather go watch the sh**. Just obvious they are miles ahead.
As for mocking out club, the ground is all that was being talked about, dont think anybody has mentioned DC, players or even the board. The ground is a shithole and is holding us back.
See you at Blackpool..

I did see on BBC sport that it said, everyone in the country apart from Manchester city and Bristol Rovers fans will be backing that sh£t to win. I'm so happy they didn't. F++k them and all of those Fools that support them. UTG with best manager we've ever had.

Oh my days. I have not bothered with this thread until now as it is City related and I do not come on here to discuss that lot. But as this thread has quite a lot of pages of comments, I thought I would take a look and see what the fuss is about. I get the hatred that a lot of us have for them after what they have done and continue to do to us. Living in South Bristol throughout my childhood, I had it tough. But even I can give due credit to them for this evening and to be honest, they deserve credit for this season too really. Hopefully Man City stuff them and put them in their place in the 2nd leg and they drop out of the top 6 of course. But fair shout to them so far this season and it hurts saying it. But I cannot believe some of the comments on here aimed at gasheads who say fair shout to City. There have been a few Rovers fans that I follow on twitter who have offered praise to City for their effort tonight and as a result have been pretty much been targeted and crucified by other Rovers fans. Now I know only 1 set of fans in Bristol who turn on their own. Well I thought it was 1 set of fans. Unfortunately, some of us has have fallen to their level of fickleness. Of course some of you have pure hatred for City. But don't turn on your own to prove how much you hate City for goodness sake.

I did laugh when I heard that ‘E-I-O’ song with ‘Johnson is our King’ at the end. They really are fickle Lady Gardens.
Then again, they’d probably say the same about us if they saw the gasheads that have been calling for DC’s head this season.

Lucky to win first leg lucky to get a draw sh**e team if we lost ! If c'ty fans took to social media to praise us they would get ripped to pieces by their own fans , I too do not like to discuss that lot but I will not praise them for fuc£ all ,1982 will happen again one day the bubble will burst ! Christ some people take the city rivalry far too seriously! Look I enjoy to hate Bristol City FC the club, team, staff etc... as it’s part of being a gashead as they are the local rivals and we sit in each other’s pockets naturally rivalling and comparing all the time. It makes you shudder when they win/succeed and it makes you smile when they lose/fail. BUT at the end of the day as much as we love it and no matter how much it may define us as who we are, IT IS JUST A GAME! It’s not worth getting too bitter and angry about it’s just a bit of fun.

Please let's not give them anything to quote on otib ~ We all know they love to read our forum They've got as far as they have off of the fortune of a man with more money than sense and enough cash to throw it around so that it sticks where it counts and all that gets wasted gets forgotten. That and by playing dirty along the lines of the Snake saga. The structure might appear to be sound, but the foundations it's built on are rotten to the core. Hardly worth applauding. Quote that, bar stewards. yeah, that will do it

If we were playing them regularly in derby games (some people seem to have forgotten what that feels like and all that comes with it) I don’t think there would be such a love-in towards the 82ers atm

They never used to bother me, I used to think, well it's another team in our city so fair play if they ok just not against us but after they conducted themselves with the snake transfer and the months afterwards, champagne moments, parading him as the Messiah, welcome to Bristol sport and all that sh#te, that was it for me. As far as I'm concerned they are all a bunch horrible people who support a franchise. UTG

F**k me. Just when I thought his place couldn't get any worse - people praising the arse out of C*ty and penning chants to slate our own club! One or two have clearly been having a few too many envy w*nks over on ONESHIT and all that six fingered, red sh1te has seeped into your brains. Have a think how long it is since you've seen your balls, lads. sorry Hard💪🏻

UTG I'm sorry but your first statement is total rubbish. I've seen with my own eyes on the comments section of Youtube beneath the Gas-Dagenham highlights, City fans coming on and saying "fair play" and "well done Rovers". I find it ridiculous when people tar any group of people, including a fanbase, all with the same brush. I have people in my family who I banter with constantly about them supporting City, and I truly hate that they're miles ahead of us and I hate when they win, but my City-supporting mates and family are still good people despite their misguided choice of football team, and they would have the same humility to praise us when the time as right, as some Gasheads have to praise them. Still, UTG and Down the S**t!
