So much bitterness on this thread, mind. Yeah, we all hate them, but i've got no problem in saying fair play to them. Rather than being bitter, why dont we as fans strive to better ourselves, I'd love Rovers to have a 28,000 stadium, be currently in the top 6 of The Championship and in a Semi Final of a major Cup competition. We really dont have anything to mock them with. So why do it? It's embarrassing. You keep harping on about the bitterness of others on here towards City stating it is wrong then say you hate them!! Strange one that. And mocking your local rivals after a defeat is the norm, proberbly not on your ‘world’ but in the world of the average supporter it is!

Let's not talk about the sh** again for the next week. We as fans need to make our feeling known on match days. A song mocking our current stadium or something, maybe the owners may further take on board our ground is shithole. The Mem is a shithole I want to go home... The "You've a worse ground than Twerton song" that we sang at the Withdean made me laugh. Although I actually really liked Twerton. I liked the Mem too, when we first got back into Bristol, but I have to confess it is wearing thin now. But there's nothing better than the ability to laugh at yourselves, so I do think a song about the Mem, how poor it is, contrasting it with how great DC's Rovers are, would be great.

It might affect them yes, not denying that. Just saying they aren't lucky to be where they are. They have got this far because they've been playing well. Well they have won the points that they have so that suggests they have had a good first half season, but I just don't get how they can beat Man United, run Man city close whilst looking very good and then lose 5-0 to Villa and lose to 10 man Wolves in the games that really matter. That's football. If everyone was consistent then football would be boring.

The only thing that really annoys me, as a club, we look more water pot than ever, the gap is absolutely huge. Probably bigger than at any time. Ground, team, infrastructure. Fingers crossed, maybe we'll get a new pasty stand for the start of next year🙏 Yes in some ways the gap is huge but looking at the table and it’s what, 25/26 places. They have a bad run and we have a good one and it will narrow just like it was one year ago before they did the dirty with MT. Might not happen but it could. It’s frustrating for us at the moment and their cup run and league form just makes it worse. But the gap isn’t that great in terms of League places especially when you consider the money spent over 10 years and in the last year on the ground. UTG!

If they'd had their way, yours and my club wouldn't even exist. Give your praise to those who've kept Rovers alive in the face of them south of the river. I won't even mention snake-gate. Boy do we need a Bristol derby. They ain't getting no love from me.

You've got to remember that most top premier teams don't really take the Carabou Cup that seriously and even though they are pressed most can squeeze out a 1-0 or 2-1 result with much less effort than they expend in a league match against Huddersfield of Bournemouth. City had a lot of games against big teams in the championship and cup ties in a very short period of time. Physically and mentally it's very difficult to keep going when there are a lot of high pressure games and a lot of first team injuries as well. The transfer window will be important for them as well as Rovers for different but no less important reasons.

Yeah mocking your rivals if they lose most weeks, or get a spanking like the 5-0 last week, but how anybody can mock them when they've knocked out Man United and lost by a last minute goal to the best team in this country by a country mile, a team that smashed 5 past Liverpool and 4 past Spurs is beyond me. We really dont have anything on them to mock them with. So why bother? Anyway this is getting tiresome.

F**k me. Just when I thought his place couldn't get any worse - people praising the arse out of C*ty and penning chants to slate our own club!
One or two have clearly been having a few too many envy w*nks over on ONESHIT and all that six fingered, red sh1te has seeped into your brains.
Have a think how long it is since you've seen your balls, lads.

They've done those below the belt things numerous times, and that's why we are enemies, enemies beyond standard football rivalry. It may of been a minority - but they were teds - that minority impacted on every Gashead, and the 82'ers as a whole have built off the back of our woes. However, I'm glad to see you ain't giving them any love either! When our day comes, and it will, it will be all the more sweet. UTG.

Please let's not give them anything to quote on otib ~ We all know they love to read our forum They've got as far as they have off of the fortune of a man with more money than sense and enough cash to throw it around so that it sticks where it counts and all that gets wasted gets forgotten. That and by playing dirty along the lines of the Snake saga. The structure might appear to be sound, but the foundations it's built on are rotten to the core. Hardly worth applauding. Quote that, bar stewards.

And that is exactly what we should all be striving for. New stadium, better players, higher division and back to playing them twice every season. Not childishly mocking them when they happen to lose a Cup Semi Final, something we have never done and something we are currently a million miles from doing. UTG indeed.
