The club is pleased to announce that it will be installing a HUGE 5m x 3m jumbo screen, complete with PA system, for the England v France match (7pm) that takes place after our League One fixture against Port Vale this weekend (3pm).
The screen will be located behind the goal at the Thatchers end of the ground, allowing fans to stand on the famous north terrace and watch the game as if you were there! Access to the terrace will be for all fans, not just those with Thatchers tickets.
To keep you occupied during the build-up to the big match, the FanZone will be re-opening after the final whistle, to provide live music, food, drink and general entertainment!

Are Vale fans welcome to stay too? Not sure that any would want to hang around for two hours, but if they did, I don't see why not.

I'm sure if England start well, people will be tempted out of the bars to view the Jumbo screen - fanzone will be open, so hot food and drinks available prior to the game, the club are giving it a reasonable go.

I think most who stay on to watch the England game will stay inside the clubhouse as it’s going to be below zero degrees. That’s why after game I’m going home and watching in the warm.

Hopefully it doesn't get abandoned during the game due to a frozen pitch!

Only Rovers could put the England game on outside in freezing weather whilst the nice, warm bars are only metres away!

Why bother. So many other places on glos Road doing it better and inside with toilets and a fully stocked bar Two more hours on that terrace in the freezing cold with a TV screen in the distant and more then likely no sound. Bright just doesn't get it at all.
