Food kiosks in the ground still seem to be hit and miss. The people who have stalls in the fanzone show how it should be done. But would I be right in saying they’re not operated by the club? If not, then why the discrepancy in performance? If that’s right then that explains it all and perhaps the club should outsource to people who know what they’re doing. I honestly believe whoever is running what is trying to do the right thing and trying their best but for all the footy scran posts in the world it ain’t no good if people cant buy it, and for all the staff in the huts these days they’re not being organised. 50% of them work their backsides off - the other 50% stand around not achieving much. I looked yesterday and wondered what three of them were actually being paid to do in one of the huts on the East Terrace, a total waste of three wages in that hut alone.

You can see that those who are running their own business (fanzone) put the effort in to maximize their income, this includes good customer service. The burger van put an extra member of staff behind the counter quite early in the season, to stop the queues getting so long. The huts have a very "franchise" feel I think.

Did you mean to write amalgamate, mate ? Think you are on the money here. More are seeing this but will not post for the usual reasons. Still having problems all over. Would have thought ST’s would ans should have been sorted ages ago. Food kiosks in the ground still seem to be hit and miss. The people who have stalls in the fanzone show how it should be done. If the clubs food stocks are low then there is no wastage, that risk is on the caterers in the fan zone. More profit with our own huts but the amount of numbers for who buys where seems a bit off. Running out of food 30/45 mins before kick off is a big misjudgment unless they hope the majority eat in the fan zone. Wonder what the food sales or lack of are for the away fans? Still surprised that the fan zone only seems to be advertised for home fans.

Not sure we want away and home fans mixing before a game, unless we the club wants another excuse for SAG to take further action

With home fan numbers I don't think that anyone would have the balls to kick off. Best place I found at Oxford for a drink was the clubs main bar

It sounds as if we’re missing far more in lost profit than we’re saving by reducing wastage.

At any point the ref wants to. Usually have a late inspection if there is doubt. I remember a Notts county away game being called off just before kick off. Had the same one year away at Oxford. Certainly remember that one being called off late between when we left Gloucestershire and arrived at the Kassam. A car load of us went to FGR and the clubhouse was packed with Rovers and Kidderminster fans, oh and a few FGR fans as well! Big session on the ale that day and FGR sensed a cash windfall and kept bar open all afternoon as they were non league back then playing at the old lawn.
