Average of 23 iirc. Salute to them all. Indeed. And the rest that served. U571 is another favourite. Might be a good story. ….Nowhere near the truth though. The RN had captured Enigma machines long before the Americans had even joined WW2…….😄

Master & Commander seems pretty good in terms of presenting life on board.

Talking of which, if you get the chance (and I think it's just finished), watch Battle 360. Tells all about the USS Enterprise, the Aircraft Carrier. Brilliantly done.

Just watched on Netflix "The Final..attack on Wembley" documentary about the 2021 Euros final and the behaviour of some/many of England's so called football fans. Good watch 👍

So I've started making a list of all the shows I want to watch. Here's the ones I've ticked off in the past year that are worth recommending Your honor The last of us Yellowstone Star trek: strange new worlds Band of brothers / the pacific / masters of the air Top boy Das boot (series) 3 body problem Ted lasso (just on season 3. Season 2 wasn't very good, but loving S3) Band of Brothers is a must. But, once you've watched that The Pacific is a bit underwhelming, still worth a watch but not as good. Haven't seen more than a few youtube clips of Masters of the Air but I'll be getting that when, if it's released. Since we discussed Band of Brothers I've had a number of related videos pop up on YouTube. Some interesting interviews with the actors. This is a nice touch too. "Band of Brothers cast members will make a parachute jump over Normandy in the D-Day commemorations to honour the legacy of the soldiers they played."
