On to season two of The Morning Show, which despite having Jennifer Aniston (who usually couldn't act if her life depended on it), as one of the main characters, is very good. Jennifer Aniston can't act? You take that back, that's my Wife you're talking about!! Only in your dreams bags.

She's your wife in the same way Dr Hannah Fry is mine mate. 😎 A fine choice. I was watching her hosting Have I Got News For You last week and was quite smitten. I might go and stand outside her house for a few weeks and see if she invites me in for tea.

So I've started making a list of all the shows I want to watch. Here's the ones I've ticked off in the past year that are worth recommending
Your honor The last of us Yellowstone Star trek: strange new worlds Band of brothers / the pacific / masters of the air Top boy Das boot (series) 3 body problem Ted lasso (just on season 3. Season 2 wasn't very good, but loving S3)

My ever diminishing circle of friends tell me I MUST watch Ripley on Netflix and Dopesick on iPlayer. Before I take a deep breath and launch into them, has anyone seen either?

I can confirm Ripley is decent. I’m a big Andrew Scott fan and he was to his usual standards. It’s a bit slow though, especially the first half of the series. It picks up the second half, not something I’d watch alone as it’s just a bit too slow. A solid 7/10. Better if you don’t know the storyline/book

Whilst my wife loved season two I genuinely can't remember anything from it. Is season three better or should I try to deflect her to Das Boot and Masters Of The Air?

Haven't seen more than a few youtube clips of Masters of the Air but I'll be getting that when, if it's released.

Season 3 is much closer to football again, which is why I like it. S2 became about the characters' life outside of the club, which became really boring. Give it a couple of episodes and see what you think.

Its definitely not as good as BoB, its completely different tbh. But i think its a fair reflection of the reality of WW2, they lived very different lives. Pilots actually lived a comfortable life because they were expected to live something like 4 weeks!

I don't do Apple play stuff, and I only really watch dvds when I go out to the pad abroad so hoping Masters of the Air comes out on that format.

Typically 15 missions before their luck ran out with a 50/50 chance of being killed, 70% chance of death, injury or capture.

Brings me on to one of my top 5 films of all time, Memphis Belle.
