Someone said to me after the game jch was subed because he could hardly walk, but isn't that normal for him until he gets a sniff of a goal That's a bit harsh. Probably ran his legs off making up for the lack of support from you know who. Didn't mean to seem harsh on jch but isn't that the way he plays, to fox the defence then pow goal π₯
Just saying people who are unable to attend more games may not understand the way he plays and maybe the mistake of taking him off was to do with that π€·ββοΈ

First start in 3-4 weeks. Not 90 mins fit I would think I'd argue that a 70% JCH is more effective than the alternatives. In hindsight, a poor decision. Would you rather JCH for 60 mins for both games or 90 mins for Wimbledon and last 20 for Fleetwood?

Don't worry about yesterday, there is plenty more of where that came from, 2.5 years worth. We have gone from being managed by a fixed bayonet over the top merchant to a conscientious objector. Won't take any of us long to get fed up with those post match interviews. The only thing over the top about Coughlan's defensive approach was how high they kicked the ball. Anyway, what was wrong with Garner's interview? After one defeat we have people moaning about how he interviews and how he doesn't jump up and down on the touchline, neither of which have the slightest relevance to his ability to produce good football teams. That is still to be seen of course, but for some strange reason, it sounds very much like lots on here want him to fail. This.

Surely you mean well be playing Arsenal at the Emirates in the quarter finals, not Highbury, they haven't played there for years π Keep up. Highbury stadium is Fleetwood's ground. Thanks for explaining. I was trying to be funny, but I obviously failed, again π

No and especially when you know their infrastructure is Orem ready but they keep bottling it. They lost, against the robins. Do I feel bad that they got to 2-2 then lose 3-2 ? Nah, will be a glum journey back for them. dont get me wrong I love it when they lose but for our fans to sing that really does make me cringe, even if we were in the same league as them let's face it we certainly are not anywhere near close, everytime we sing it we end up bloody losing Likewise

Let's face it, he's a great player, and did very well for us. He was the only one I felt would ever score for us in that relegation season. Unfortunately, he went from John Joe O'Toole, to just being a tool.

I'd have rather we did everything to maintain our winning position yesterday and concentrate on Fleetwood afterwards. Strikes me as basic common sense and a big gamble to try and plot ahead in that manner. And it clearly didn't pay off.

I'd argue that being an effective, articulate communicator and responding to the unfolding game is directly relevant to a managers ability to produce a winning football team. I simply observed that didn't appear to the case yesterday. As he's never managed a senior team previously, it's going to be interesting to assess his approach going forward.

We need at least one new midfielder and at least one forward who can SCORE Itβs hard to say what we need going forward from where we are because none of us really know what formation or style of play Garner wants to take us forward with. He might bring in a couple of wingers / inside forwards and go 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1

& the pendulum firmly swings back to doom & gloom. When we beat Fleetwood weβll all be looking forward to City, Wednesday & Derby away again. Some of the over the top reactions here are laughable. See you at Highbury. Not gonna happen though is it. Boom!
