Gaffney/Gosling/Montano type signings given DC apparently had no money to spend. Gaffney who is our recent hero, Gosling, the international who played a major role in our promotion, Montano, a wingers that the supporters had been demanding for seasons? Lawrence was on a FREE, not for the first time..... A free transfer is never completely free, inevitably there will be an agents fee, possibly relocation expenses et al. Not throwing a wet blanket over this event, but it is an inescapable fact. Lulworth, dont come on here using gunnery school fire orders, some of us know what is normally shouted in the turret  Back on subject, lets hope we receive some excellent news on this matter soon. I think you are missing the point they are all "cheap" signings in that none of those 3 are likley to be on decent Div 2 contracts, but LL is likely to be on decent Div 2 money even if he took a cut in wages, or DC just picked up a bargain as he was desperate to leave Shrewsbury. |
