Random I know, but just wondered, did anyone find out the name of the kiddy who held up the sign about us going to non-league?
Looking forward to hopefully getting a chance to shove that up Yeovil's ass come next season.
Just one of so many reasons for our players & fans to be even more motivated to do the business to make sure we get this promotion!!

I'm not sure what the obsession is with Yeovil. Some young kiddy holding up a sign about us doesn't change my opinion of Yeovil - they have done a fantastic job in recent years with limited resources and should be applauded for that. And it just highlights our woeful under performance in recent years. I dont want promotion to be given a chance to shove anything up Yeovil's a*se. I want promotion to be able to visit places like Fratton Park and Home Park again rather than Braintree, Eastleigh etc.
Its been fun playing a season in the conference but I dont want to be going back to non league grounds next season.

Going on admit it, beating them next season in Div 2 will be all the better when you think back to seeing that sign last season? Although the way they are falling like a stone they could be playing Conference football themselves soon.

Yeovil did everything with loan players, not my idea of running a club well, it has caught up with them now. we might be lower than them in the Leagues but I would never want to be run like them. Just my opinion, as for the lad , we all would do similar!

Dont forget we also used the loan market and it failed - they just got better loan players than us.

Surrey, I did say it was my opinion, not yours, it's down to choice I guess.

Surrey, I did say it was my opinion, not yours, it's down to choice I guess. Agreed. Everyone's entitled to their opinion and I respect that but I ask the question "would you seriously rather be watching Rovers in the conference than league 1?"

The only reason I dislike Yeovil is because they seem to hate us so much!

The only reason I dislike Yeovil is because they seem to hate us so much! I only dislike them because they are more successful than us with half the support. I'm just very envious of them and I think thats why most other Gasheads dislike them.

That sign was proper c*ntish mind...
Considering they were non league for the majority of their history. Not to mention the fact that the sign was unveiled at St Andrews. A ground that a couple months before we took over 3,000 compared to the 300 they took.
But yeah, scummy little club. Only slightly less inbred as their zomerrrset cousins City.

Most prob don;t even know about it, and even if they did most aren't BRFC 'fans'. What matters to me is getting back into the 4th Tier ASAP, then getting into the Third Tier and sustaining it, like we used to.

I think the fans will be motivated and hopefully the atmosphere we create will rob off on the players. Although we have to get out of the Conference first before thinking about who we're going to play!
