Random I know, but just wondered, did anyone find out the name of the kiddy who held up the sign about us going to non-league? Looking forward to hopefully getting a chance to shove that up Yeovil's ass come next season. Just one of so many reasons for our players & fans to be even more motivated to do the business to make sure we get this promotion!! Do we really need this to get us motivated?

How well run are they anyway? As I understand it, Johnson scrapped the academy and they let their youngsters go because they are "not a nursery" as he put it.
I started buying two 50/50s instead of one after I heard that.

Do we really need this to get us motivated? certainly don't NEED it, but no harm in having further reasons to be motivated! Whether you think it right or wrong, it certainly adds spice to our next game against Yeovil for me personally. I'll grit my teeth and punch the air that bit harder when I think of that Fool with the sign. Whenever the game comes (I desperately hope it's next season in League Two) it'll be the first game that I'll go into it thinking ''I hate Yeovil''. Despite the embarrassing and sickening reality that Yeovil have been in a higher league than BOTH Bristol clubs in recent years, I still think of them as a local little club that we might have played in a pre-season friendly to help them out n get them a few extra quid. Let's hope their downward spiral continues and hope our upward rise can begin with promotion this season! UTG!

Like I said somewhere else, all the clubs who weren't in the FL when I was young, I can't take seriously as "real" clubs. Grimsby and Lincoln, yes. Burton, Fleetwood, Yeovil... Nah.
It's irrational and unfair, but I don't care.

Yet Bristol Rovers are non-league and those clubs aren't. I want this promotion SO BADLY!!

Except I'd make an exception for Accrington Stanley - the original club was a longstanding FL member and, anyway, they have such a brilliant name, lol.

there's a few articles about him on the net.
The incident draws a sorry line under the Mr Cabell’s journey with the banner after he was left pulling his hair out when it was misplaced in the celebrations following Yeovil’s second leg victory over Sheffield United.
pulling what hair out?

I'm already preparing a banner for next season. It should read like this.
Could be worse, we could support Yeovil.

Prime example of why you shouldn't be a complete knobber before the end of the season.

Na I can't stand that lot either!
Mainly because every single time I have ventured to their ground it has absolutely poured down and the game has been a complete nightmare! Either a stuffing or a complete bore fest!
I also hate their arrogance! Real cocky bunch.

I've always wondered why most local clubs have a bitter hatred towards us and C*ty? I mean I've seen and heard it from fans of many clubs.
The likes of Yeovil, Forest Green, Cheltenham, Swindon, Torquay, Exeter and even Oxford seem to have some sort of bitter hatred which we never really share? It's weird. Just look at the forums of these clubs in the build up to a match against us and you'll see what I mean. I don't know if it's small town syndrome or what?

Seriously speaking though, if we do go up and they do go down and we end up beating them next season at their place, I would imagine that a thousand or so 'It could be worse' banners may be produced from coats and bags..

The original club were just called Bradford. They were known as Bradford Park Avenue because of the ground they played at so not to confuse with Bradford City. When they went bust and reformed in the seventies was the first time they were officially Bradford Park Avenue. Sorry, Geek Alert.

And just to confuse matters even more, the club no longer play at Horton Park Avenue, but I suppose, Bradford Cemetery Road doesn't have the same ring to it.

Years ago an experiment was tried of letting eight Conference clubs into the JPT. Yeovil were one of them and sure enough we drew them at home. Squeezed past them and I remember applauding their supporters' bus as it passed me on the way home only to get a load of fingers in return.
Always seen them as a bit tin pot and basically Sh1!heads without the bus fare ever since
