That's a fair statistical comment, but not necessarily fair accurate on it's own analogy.

Many attendances fall in peak holiday times, school holiday periods, opposition draw, stagnant times in season or fans affected by financial concerns.
The defensive style of GC wasn't easy on the eye for some that want to see fast flowing football and spectacular goals....but if you value hard endeavour, defensive lines, hard to beat, team ethic and constant running, physicality in competition and jch which summed most of this up.... it wasn't all that bad.
Like I said, Sunderland away was a good example of this.

Southend was hardly a crowd draw, was it?
But the 6700 fans....well, how many more might have turned up later in season if we were going for promotion/play offs?
