Wardy cupping his ears at the North Enclosure...to me that was a "sod you" to those who booed at half and full time. Good on him. 🏴☠️ Ward has got a brass neck, he has been absolutely terrible this season, still living off his tremendous performance at Norwich away last season, needs to look at himself, before bigging it up in front of the home supporters. Pete mate , have you ever noticed that no one ever agrees with you or likes your posts ?

Lincoln City sacked Mark Kennedy 13th October, we sacked Barton 26th October……..they appointed Michael Skubala 13th November and us Matt Taylor 1st December. No one digs Lincoln out as being a big club, a Peterborough United or a big spender. We also remember us running riot there and Stuart Campbell scoring a goal we never thought he was possible of doing in 2007……….Lincoln City are in essence a Bristol Rovers of Div1, I’d argue we are bigger in attendance and budget. I’ve banged the drum that we’ve only beaten crap bar Charlton and we also know our home form is on another level to our away form, it’s what sustains us. Skubala has stamped his identity on Lincoln City, Taylor hasn’t on Bristol Rovers. Saturday is make or break game in my opinion, no more excuses, this isn’t even Wycombe coming to town with Championship parachute payments (good excuse for our excuse kings on here). They are the benchmark and this game is a leveller. Hands up, if Matt Taylor even inspires us to a well played draw against Lincoln, I’ve got to say maybe just maybe he’s got onto something here. Another Wycombe style defeat, I think it’s 💯 time to act to save the season and a relegation battle, it’s clear he has no idea of how to move ua forward. To offer a little balance, I think the Grant Ward cupping his ears as a sub as well, offers a little insight into our situation, it’s seems the experienced pros are behind the manager and he hasn’t lost the changing room. Saturday is a real indicator and benchmark game of where we are with Matt Taylor. Lastly when we get smart arse fans on here saying who would you bring in as manager then? It’s not our job to appoint the manager, it’s people within football to. Skubala was only appointed Leeds U21 manager in July 2022 and he’s never played the game either professionally but he’s doing a great job at Lincoln. 1.66 points per game in 47 games, compared to MT’s 1.12 PPG over 50 games. Thoughts?

Not much in it was there? "Saturday is a real indicator and benchmark game of where we are with Matt Taylor." I guess the OP will now have to accept MT's now at a similar level to Michael Skubala? Once PC and O'Donkar return and Martin is fully fit then he may do even better. As far as Lincoln being a benchmark they reminded me today of Wycombe, just a big physical side always trying to cheat the ref with hardly any skilful players

Just got home, A34 slow tonight.
Saw enough today to think he deserves a few more games to prove himself. This said, Lincoln even at 1-1 never really tested us and the manager decided to bring on another CB to close out a draw. We have the lad from Villa on loan, he could have offered a width from the left coming on.
Luke Thomas “it’s been a few tough weeks with football”……..another outlet to come on.
Manager played for a point and happy to nick one, never went for the out and out win and story all season. We need these export and tempo against 4th bottom Crawley, anything else he goes.

That could be levelled at either manager tonight? But the only one who fans would be calling for their head tonight if we'd lost was MT's. LT was out injured and not even on the bench so he could hardly come on.

As far as Lincoln being a benchmark they reminded me today of Wycombe, just a big physical side always trying to cheat the ref with hardly any skilful players That's an understatement. They were a fine example of physical violence, intimidation and ABH/GBH. I thought the way our team stood up to it was magnificent. They barely had an ounce of football in them, except the tall willowy black guy who was very good. Says a lot about L1 that they are in a playoff place (with Wycombe top).

Childish name calling all because I said I’m glad you don’t own the club. Sit down and have a word with yourself and we’ll crack on as adults perhaps.

Adults, why make the childish comment in the first place pal? You could have put anything constructive or added your view to a debate. You are glad I don’t own the club, I think you are an imbecile. I’ve added my view a few times today during the game and after. Personally I don’t go from game to game thinking if we win the next one the manager keeps his job and if we lose he should be sacked and I’m glad that club owners don’t either. That was my point. But you call me a prick and an imbecile if it makes you feel better.

Deleted the comments. Roady consider this a warning, more name calling and it’s a 7 day ban.

And for the record it’s not game to game, it’s 1.12 points per game in 46 games in charge which is relegation form. We have played well against Reading and Lincoln and got one point. And yeah we should be beating teams like Crawley at home, if we lose and it goes to 1.03 PPG then he should be sacked.
