Very clever move by the board. Close both the East and South stands, get a public reaction and then give Weston another 500 tickets, open the East stand for home fans so as to fill the stadium. Do they think we are that stupid? By the way, I tried to have an input on Having a Gas but it was the Hoskin and Hargreaves brains trust not involving any comments from fans. Who do they think they are fooling. Pretty miffed that I had to go in the SW corner (Family Stand) in rubbish seats because that was all that was left; splitting our group up in the process... only for tickets for the East Stand to be released a few hours later. Cheers Rovers

To get more than block A, I'm sure Rovers fans who boycott the EFL Trophy could "donate" £3 in the form of purchasing 3 kids tickets.
It therefore decreases the amount of spaces currently available, so the club are more likely to open more areas, so you can get a seat where you wanted.
My understanding is that FA cup gate receipt are split 33% between the FA, Rovers and Weston. I know the FA money will probably fall into a black hole, but the romantic in me would like to think it would go to grass roots or to help community support.
I'm sure many would like to financially help out both Weston and the Gas, in a small way, so it's a win, win.
Unless of course hundreds do this and the club employ several more stewards and cook 200 more pasties.

If contacting Clare as supporters rep please note there is no i in Clare. She is a team player. A long serving and efficient BRFC staff member. Who made the decision to shut half the ground in the first place though? New Commercial Director? Not a good start from Master Bates?

Trying to get tickets for weston on website but it comes up with exeter game instead? Anyone else have that issue? [br Yep ! You need to click the BUY link underneath the game listing, not above it. It's not especially obvious!

I wonder how many east stand tickets they need to sell to justify opening the bar

Or made a reasonable business decision in seeing how many tickets they would sell before opening the East Stand, or perhaps you are just happy with the Wael way, lose £3m+ each season, then have to find new investors when the money runs out?

Weren't we losing more than that before Wael? Don't believe we've published the accounts for a full year post Wael? I assume when we do they'll include the cost of completing the South Stand which is really still down to Wael. We won't get a true reflection of the new owners input for another year or two, perhaps they've got deeper pockets than Weal? 🤷

I and two other season ticket holders are boycotting the fa cup match and watching the Exeter game better football another league one side. The weston game will be an easy 6 or 7 nil match mot worth getting up for on a Saturday better under the lights.more atmosphere with big Exeter following.

Is this a wind up or have you been on the cooking sherry? Only games we boycott are the pointless (unless you get to the final) trophy - FA cup whilst devalued lately by the uber rich premiership teams - is always special. The only big away following will be WSM, Exeter won’t bring any more than we would take if tie was at theirs. As for 6 or 7 goals you do know they are top of Conference South?

Meet at the ground, leave the 70+ cars there, travel together and have a good day as a group. It's a great tie for them so if their club are offering options then fair doos. They'll probably outsing the blackthorn aswell.
