When Taylor joined I watched nearly every game on ifollow, paying for each one. Now that's not an option I'm stuck with finding free streams. Surely that has to be worse for the club? Nothing's changed on that score, if you're "overseas" then you can still watch every game, even with iFollow UK residents could only watch mid week games.

The club put out a statement recently, stating ticket-exchange wouldn’t go live until a fixture was completely sold out.I found this out recently too. I'm not sure if I agree with this approach. If you cannot go and cannot sell back to the club the surely you should be able to give the ticket to someone? Maybe have 5 'shares' on one season ticket each season. I don’t see them checking whose name is on the (virtual) card. I certainly intend to let my brother have my ST when I can’t be there and he’ll do the same when he can’t. I wouldn’t share it with someone I don’t know but letting friends and family use it seems practical and fair. Club may as well just say that.

The option seems to be now lend the "card" to a relation etc and let them use it, or the seat/terrace space just goes empty and there's no money spent on food or drinks. Perhaps there's some logic to spending £15 to get a physical card if you're not going to make every game?

Think the thing to keep in mind about the Sky coverage this weekend is that they had to cover 30 odd games. Trying to get that many commentators to cover all the games and multi camera set ups was never going to be possible so probably why the games shown outside of the main Sky TV fixtures e.g. Barnsley v Mansfield has pretty basic coverage.
Most weekends there'll only be the 2-3 League 1 fixtures on Sky so should imagine they'll be covered in the usual way with commentators at the ground, replays, stats etc.

UTG.

I assume the Stockport game will have better coverage but the mid week cup games being just as poor. You do wonder if they are trying to cover too many games, or why they didn't do a deal with the BBC to use their commentary teams, I assume the same commentator will cover the home & away commentary, so will have to be fairly natural, unlike with iFollow.

Radio Bristol commentary with the sky feed muted would be a good combo if only it synced up. Radio Bristol commentary was about 35 seconds behind Sky+ at best.

I’m getting confused about the coverage here, can someone please explain it to me?
Is sky showing all rovers games or just some? If it’s some, is it just the ones we’ve written about on the website so far? About 4 games until Jan?

If it’s some, is it just the ones we’ve written about on the website so far? About 4 games until Jan? Sky are saying that every league 1 team will be selected for live broadcast 20 times a season, in addition they will also screen cup games, so our cup game against Cardiff & our league match at Stockport are the next Rovers games available for fans to watch. Sky will then select & announce live matches as the season progresses.

If the latter, as theres only 4 chosen until January then I assume it’ll be a busy 2nd half of the season?

Not 100% sure, but as they are also screening Bristol Street Trophy matches, it could be inclusive of cup fixtures.

Fairly certain it's 20 cup and league games, if we gave a poor season it'll be around 10 league games plus the first and final fixtures, if we have a good season then no doubt one or both our games v B'ham, Huddersfield, Bolton and Wrexham will be shown!!

Nothing's changed on that score, if you're "overseas" then you can still watch every game, even with iFollow UK residents could only watch mid week games. I popped over to France but couldn't find the game showing as available in the same way I used to. I would go to the club page from the link on the EFL (iFollow) site and then pay for the game in Euros and it was super easy. Maybe I was doing something wrong as I was unable to do that for this game. I dont have Sky, and I won't ever be getting it. I'm not against paying for each game as I go, but couldn't find a way of doing so on Saturday. Maybe I'm being thick?
