I don't think any games will be on BRTV for UK based fans? Every league game will be shown for "overseas" fans.

Watched the Barnsley game last night on Sky 410. Easiest way when lots of games are on is to use your voice button on your remote and say Bristol Rovers rather than scrawling across the list of games Its always the simple ideals that work, didn't think about that "BRISTOL ROVERS"

So, I am being really thick here (and it’s probably already been explained), but I might not be able to get down to the game today. So: 1: can I definitely get the game on Sky Sports plus? 2: am I able to release my STs to get some money back but also release a ticket for someone else?

Yes to your first question, not sure about the rest.

No tickets on the Ticketmaster stadium map are in red which was the way to spot resales previously so I'd assume the answers no. Never seen anything from the club on the subject though

The way football is heading now it wouldn’t surprise me if all clubs matches will eventually be televised! Television subscription will be a darned sight cheaper than attending matches, especially in inclement weather. Plenty of people are now picking and choosing matches to attend with the high prices of admission. To think football was once a working class game to watch!

When Taylor joined I watched nearly every game on ifollow, paying for each one.
Now that's not an option I'm stuck with finding free streams.
Surely that has to be worse for the club?

Audio subscription is bare bones, no stats or latest scores. BRTV giving ambiguous info about single match pass viewing availability.

I’ve also just realised they are not showing any replays either like they did on iFollow. I haven’t paid the £180 for the season just yet. It’s £40 more than what iFollow was. Before I do pay I want to find out if it’s possible to watch full match replays like you could on iFollow?

I watched on sky sports+ I have to say ifollow was better. No onscreen data . Shots, corners etc No visual of the subs names going on and off. Believe it or not the commentary was worse than radio bristol ! To cap it off coverage ended at the 91st minute for some reason. So overall a bad experience to accompany a woefully boring game.

I agree completely. My biggest gripe, apart from missing the goal, was the completely bland commentary. Well done to the commentator for keeping going but her delivery was meh! She could have been describing a shopping trip to Tescos. No emotion and the lack of any background noise from the crowd made it worse. She didn’t really know the players and wasn’t able to give that vital information. UTG!

I watched it on BRTV. I did flick briefly to Sky but the sound of the actual game was drowned out by the commentary. BRTV used the radio Bristol commentators like iFollow used to and the sound quality was much better. However, there were no stats, replays etc on this either like like iFollow used to show. Did the Sky coverage show any replays, different camera angles etc? BRTV costs £40 more than iFollow did for the whole season. At the moment it is looking like an inferior product so I wont commit to paying for it yet. I also want to know if it will be possible to watch full match replays say the day after the game for example.

I'm not sure if I agree with this approach. If you cannot go and cannot sell back to the club the surely you should be able to give the ticket to someone? Maybe have 5 'shares' on one season ticket each season.

The visual work of the play was pretty good.Except missing the goal and final whistle. There was very little crowd sound in the first half and vague noises in the second.

I was worried with the change to sky and ifollow changing names the usall hooky websites wouldn't have the games but it worked sweet as a nut 👌

Was the female commentator on the Sky stream actually at the stadium or was she just sat in a studio somewhere commenting on what she saw on a monitor? The BRTV stream with in stadium Radio Bristol commentary and crowd noise was superior imo despite having more limited camera work and they showed the whole game.

The season's Sky product is similar to the Championship Tuesday product, it's all fairly bland. You might have hoped Sky would have found somebody who have familiar with commentating on Rovers, if they stick with the same one perhaps she'll grow into role, but you have to sense we'll have somebody completely difference for the next game.

Radio Bristol commentary with the sky feed muted would be a good combo if only it synced up.
