Former Bristol Rovers youth product goalkeeper Matt Macey has joined Accrington Stanley on loan for a month from Arsenal. Should we have gone in for him with Mildy injured? Or do we keep the faith it Puddy?

Doesn't DC only want players who actually want to play for us.

Puddy has had sod all to do. He's been keeping Taylor's shots out in training, apparently. A traffic cone placed anywhere in the goalmouth could do that. (No only joking.)

Puddy doesn't worry me at all. Speiss had nothing to do at Torquay but still managed to score an own goal. Puddy looks a decent enough keeper so far IMO.

Plus Mildenhall is back training! And Puddy has been decent! Puddy has had sod all to do. Fact. A keeper with nothing to do must have a good defense. Fact. Best form of defensive is attack. Fact. Matty Taylor is an attacker. Fact. Puddy has nothing to do because Matty Taylor is so awesome. Ithankyou.

Who's the better keeper (Puddy v Mildenhall )? and why ? Difficult to say as Puddy has had precious little to do in the matches he has played. Personally Puddys lack of height worries me. One day a team will bombard our goal with high balls in to the box and if he is in goal we may struggle. Cant really say that I would swap Mildenhall with any keeper that I have seen this season or last. So I would go with the big fella everytime.

Down at Eastleigh they tried a bit of that, he coped well. One high ball he went through a crowd of players and punched it, even cleaned out Neal Trotman. good luck to Matt Macey

Who's the better keeper (Puddy v Mildenhall )? and why ? After a shaky start I can't recall Puddy doing anything wrong since he returned to the side at Telford and then is recent spell, whilst Mildenhall is a good shot stopper, apart form penalties!, Puddy doesn't make me nervous under crosses and has good distribution. If DC sticks with Puddy then Mildenhall may well struggle to get his place back, once again proving competition for places is good for the team.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" More importantly, if it ain't broke, don't break it.

I was worried when I first saw Puddy play as he did not seem up to the task but he has been very good at what he has had to do recently. Seems a good shot stopper, good in the air for someone who lacks a little height as far as keepers go and his distribution seems quicker than Mildenhall's and yet remains accurate. Despite all this, I would probably stick with Mildenhall if he is fit but it would be harsh on Puddy to drop him at the momment.
