Macey has also been injured a lot this season so could be a reason we didn't go in for him when we lost Mildenhall even if we were considering him as an option.
"I've been looking to get out on loan all season but due to injuries it didn't quite happen," he said.

He has not been injured, he was talking about the other keepers at Arsenal and that was why he was on the bench for them twice in December time.

Why would we have a player back who basically turned his back on the club after they coached him all though is youth? It seems pretty ironic to me that he's now saying he needs a good grounding in lower league football, when he could have had that at Rovers!

What footballer in his right mind would turn down Arsenal? World class facilities and form for blooding youngsters. Part of his career path is loan games for first team football. We could offer bugger all compared to them.

Perhaps it's the system rather than the player, as it's irritating that clubs like Rovers spend years training them then get virtually nothing when a bigger club comes in for them.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" More importantly, if it ain't broke, don't break it. I prefer if it's broke, get someone else to fix it.
