Good response following the cup loss BUT such a shame we couldn't' hold out for the win, our games always seem to be the last to finish! GRRRrrr anyway safe journey home everyone,

Poor defending for their goal After snuffing them out for the most if the game. Real kick in the teeth that but it was coming. Guess we would all take a point at the start of the evening

Bit disappointed we didn’t hold out there, but it’s not a bad point in the grand scheme. Onto Vale next weekend now!

Bolton definitely deserved a goal at the end Not sure they really threatened us that much, they seem to run out of ideas upfront. To the extent I was fairly confident we'd hold out, until I saw the 7 mins added time!

Charlton lost at home to late Cheltenham goal.
Garner must be on borrowed time.

Charlton lost at home to late Cheltenham goal. Garner must be on borrowed time. Hopefully not much. Hoping we can finish him off in two weeks time. Incompetent.

Massively frustrating end to the game but a very encouraging performance particularly defensively. Yes Bolton had lots of the ball but the only real clear cut chance came from the only mistake our back 3 made all night. I thought we invited a bit too much pressure in the last 20 mins but overall another good performance at one of the 'big boys'

Bit disappointed with Belshaw on the goal.Should not b e beaten with a chip so far UNDER the bar. Very similar in a way to the second Boreham Wood goal. Lads fought well though. For all Boltons attacking they didnt really look like scoring.

If you are going to try and hold on for the win you cant afford to continually give the ball to the opposition, and unfortunately we did that and the ball kept coming back time and time again until they eventually put one in. We lost the midfield a bit in that second half, although Evans looks better more advanced in the middle. We are always a team who look likely to concede at least 1, so we have to go all out to get that crucial 2nd goal after we go ahead.
A point is better than nothing but its always disappointing to concede so late, especially as Bolton were no great shakes.

Next up - Port Vale - who won. 2 - 0 at Plymouth tonight. DC doing brilliantly at Vale. Could he get another double promotion on his CV? Plymouth not in great form since they threw away a 2-0 lead against us they've only won 2 of their last 5 league games, haven't won in 3, draws against Lincoln & Burton and a loss tonight, plus got gubbed 5-1 in the FA Cup in the middle of that as well.

The reason our games are last to finish is due to the amount of time we waste when in the lead, like tonight.
We did well in the first half but just didn’t get going in the second. They were first to every ball and worked very hard. And we gave the ball away cheaply.
Delighted with a point.

I wonder if Gibbons is regretting leaving them now. Although I wouldnt have been too fussed as I havent been very impressed with Gibbons. Would rather we got O'Keeffe who went to FGR. Ive always like Wilson for Vale and they still have Proctor to come back, and this lad Butterworth they have on loan from Blackburn has been impressing. SHould be a good game next week

Gutted to drop 2 points in added time, but in all honesty Bolton deserved at least a point as they dominated the second half, still a point away at a top 6 side is still pretty decent.

Plus McCormick is no replacement for Collins.
