Lincoln manager I would have thought. Second in form table and beat Barnet 4-1

Dover are unbeaten in 11 league games.
trouble is only 4 Lge games in Dec (1 win / 3 draws)
They did beat Cheltenham away in the FA Cup, and Lowestoft away in the FA trophy. Not sure if they count in the decision?

I believe that the award is made purely on league games (hence Barclays/Vanorama manager of the month). The only guarantee is the points achieved , so therefore it should be Clarkey.
I'd be quite happy for him to win it for the next four months as well.

I hope DC wins it every month between now and the end of the season. If he does we are likely to have finished top!

It seems that only the league games count. So congrats to DC. Hope you win it four more times

Maybe he did. The reviewers were just telling you what the previous winners had achieved- not necessarily what the criteria was.
Congrats to DC -http://www.footballconference.co.uk/news/details.php?news_id=14221

winner of the Vanarama Conference Manager of the Month award for December is Darrell Clarke of Bristol Rovers. The Gas have had an impressive month recording a total of eleven points in December and currently sit in second place in the Vanarama Conference. On the announcement of the award Clarke said: “It’s a privilege to accept this award again on behalf of everyone connected with the club.” “Rather than it being a Manager of the Month Award, I think it should be should be the Club of the Month Award, because so many people are involved in what we are trying to do here.” “I appreciate that we are in a results based business and the players here deserve great credit for the way they have played all season, as do the backroom staff, the office staff, and all of our supporters because we are all working so hard to achieve positive results on matchdays.” The official awards panel said: “'Despite leaders Barnet keeping a grip at the top of the table, the challenge has been well and truly taken up by Darrell Clarke at Bristol Rovers with the Gas recording 11 points in the Vanarama Conference with three wins and two draws during December. The wins were very important coming against strong opposition and other clubs in and around the top of the table, namely Torquay United, Gateshead and Macclesfield Town.”

Because Cup results are taken into consideration some people believe Dover should've won the award.
