Sorry Cantankerous. I wasn't trying to be cantankerous. I didn't read the bit about the cup.
However, if you include cup games, Barnet matched us. So that was why I said what I said.

FACT - if they were awarding it under the rules from last season Martin Allen would have won it.
Last season it was purely a statistical award, based on average league points gained.
This year they changed it so there is now a panel who decide based on all factors. It seems as if this month DC won it not just because of the lge results, but also who we played, and how we kept the pressure up on the Bees.
FYI - Bees had 10 lge points out of 12 in december.
Lincoln & Kiddie both had 9 out of 12.
we had 11 out of 15.
Dover had 6 out of 12.

Maybe he did. The reviewers were just telling you what the previous winners had achieved- not necessarily what the criteria was. That's exactly what it says....... If you read the article it explained that there were a number of candidates based on league form for November without a clear winner so the cup run swung it for Kinnear. As Vanarama only sponsor the league one could see why there own judgement is based mainly on league resilts

Which was my point. It's the VANORAMA CONFERENCE manager of the month.
