Hi all,
I can confirm Gashead1981's comments that, in real life, I am Steve Lamble and that I am now one of the BRSC "Fans Directors". As someone has noted, I have not posted on here since the appointment. I hope that you will all understand the reasons behind that. However, I do continue to read the forum and obviously if there are important issues that arise I do discuss these with the other members of the BRSC and, where appropriate, with the Board of the Football Club.
Please note that I do not intend to answer open questions to me within this forum as I believe that it would be unfair of anyone to expect that within the context of an anonymous forum. In addition there are issues on which I will not be able to comment.
However, If anyone has a genuine query or comment or offers of help and support, I would welcome you to contact me directly using the e-mail address now published. I will do my best to answer those questions. In addition, if anyone would like to meet for a chat about anything prior to a game - please let me know via e-mail. I will make myself available in the fanzone area prior to the games.

Hi Slam, well done and good luck to you 👏 One point, not criticising, but why do you not feel it appropriate to answer the odd question on here? I realise the usernames are not real, but surely if it’s a bonafide question or query there can’t be any harm in being open and transparent in front of a large audience. I would personally see it as a step forward by the new improved Supporters Club who I guess need to be reaching out to the modern day fan, with social media interaction being something that is getting more and more important, particularly to the young. Steve, i don’t know about that nor do i wish to know, not meaning to be rude or aloof but any forums i use, be it football, Porsche, chess etc, they ALL have a shared theme and that is they are full of those who wish to feel self important and better than others and i have, long ago, accepted that mate. A man in my position has to be careful as to the amount os stress i allow in and it’s why i am an occasional visitor rather than a valued contributor. Let’s not forget that i used to think of myself as ITK but, little did I know, i was being used to press an agenda. It is much nicer when you can stand back and not be in the firing line. |
