13th placed Rovers take on 21st placed Tranmere Rovers away from home, looking for the so far elusive win that will secure Ben Garner his first 3 points as Rovers manager. I suspect both sides will fancy their chances given each others poor records as of late.
Tranmere last 5: LLLLL
Rovers Last 5: LLDDL
I think this is available on iFollow for those that can't attend?
Safe travels to those that do.
UTG.

Looking at that form I think we’ll lose 0 - 0.

Our attack is taking shape with Ginnely, Mitchell-Lawson and Abraham adding some much needed flair. They can drop back to cover in midfield too in a 4-3-3. Trouble is, our defenders look decidedly shaky in a back four. Maybe time to play the new centre back? I'd be wary of Tranmere. They've lost five on the trot and will be looking to turn their form around too. One of their forwards in particular caught the eye against United. He was fast and tricky and got some useful balls in behind their defence a few times. 3-4-3 might be the way to go but I'm not sure we've got the midfield players for that. A late win for us or a draw.

They are on terrible form. In their last 5 games they've lost 5,scored 0 and conceded 14! That does include losing 0-6 to Man Utd though. However before that they had a great comeback to draw with Watford and then won in the replay. A feeling we haven't had since 17th December! I think we will score, its just whether we'll have the confidence to see it through, or if we'll make a silly error and heads drop like they did at Bolton. I think if we can sneak a win tonight, we can go on to beat Blackpool at the weekend. UTG

We might lose our wallets & watches, that’s all. Bens first win, put it in the ledger.

Corey Blackett-Taylor, James Vaughan and/or Andy Cook/Morgan Ferrier will cause us problems.
1-1.

Scoring first will be vital. Looking at their forum, they have had chances in recent games, but as soon as they go behind heads drop - perhaps understandably given their run.

I feel like, in some ways, this is BG's first big game.

Tranmeres pitch looks like a ploughed field, BG’s tippy tappy football will do us no favours here.

A huge few days i think. 2 winnable games, even in our current form!! Win both and i think it eases any relegation thoughts, and gives BG a chance to really work with the players without that pressure, and gives him a great opportunity to assess who he wants to keep next season. Dont win them, and lose one and it could get a little bit nervy!!
