Don't know about you guys, but I'm going to lay off the Bat Soup until this all blows over.
I get the impression that the governments are not really telling us the truth on this.

it's to battle climate change Nobby. If we wipe out a significant amount of the population it will ease the strain on the planet

In the meantime, as various people show how they will stop the spread of the killer virus......
Baggins - "Just pop down to the pub, have a pint, and wait for it all to blow over", he says. Bolders - "stick a cucumber up yer arse and smear yourself with Ambrosia Creamed Custard. That'll keep the virus away!", he says. Hugo - He's stood in the corner of his living room with his South Stand blanket draped over him, whispering gently, "go away, go away". Marshy - Walks around asking young ladies if they "take it up the wrong 'un". He says it will not stop the virus but he's prepared to go down fighting. Oldie - Blames the outbreak on the British destruction of the Summer Palace 1860. He reckons it's best to sit in a bath of the cheapest wine. Speedos are optional though.

In Ireland they've been told it comes from China so they are drinking out of paper cups.

My French Windows will no longer open, the Continental Quilt has stopped working, and I dread to think what has happened to the wife's Dutch Cap ! I also can't find a Belgian Bun for love nor money in the shops.

We are dealing with a virus as severe as flu and a pattern of pneumonia but without vaccination or specialised, non-generic treatment. It has the transmission effectiveness of chickenpox (transmission possible during 2 week asymptomatic incubation period) which I believe will prove impossible to control. I would recommend that anyone in at risk groups stocks up on medicines and supplies. Those not in at-risk groups have excellent survival rates but if you do get it, you'll be self-isolating for 14 days so may be worth getting a few bits in.
