It's all being blown out of proportion, if it was the winter flu, 50,000 in the UK would have it by now not the 40 or so that do. Swine flu, Bird flu, this 1 will be no different.
We might be in trouble if this was like norovirus in how quickly and easily that's transmitted but it's not so please dont buy all the beans and bread so there's nothing left in shops

On a serious note I’d imagine the Euro’s in the summer must be a big doubt Yeah I have tickets to all England games at Wembley, plus the final so really hoping it's on. I'll be gutted if not It's all being blown out of proportion, if it was the winter flu, 50,000 in the UK would have it by now not the 40 or so that do. Coronavirus is 10x more deadly than seasonal flu and the scary part is how easily it is transmitted. I work within the pharma industry and I can tell you that there is huge concern.

Really, there was an infectious disease expert from imperial college London the other day saying it's not as bad as people making out. Still, the media like 2 cause a panic. Funny how the Chinese were struggling with riots and protests and then all of a sudden this appears and the streets are clear. Food for thought

Food for thought And there are experts every day saying it's a huge concern. It's not as bad as people might be making out, but it's a huge concern. The biggest issue is when it spreads in the UK, for now it's nice and easy to sit back and say no problem. Depends who you want to listen to though, either someone doing an interview or the WHO, EU, UK Government, pharma industry etc.

The WHO, an organisation that made Robert Mugabe a 'goodwill ambassador'. So is that a reason to ignore them and everyone else giving the same advice? My sister in law is a pharmacist and she is concerned. What is it? 8 out of 10 needent worry? I have 4 close relatives who are very vulnerable.

And yes, I have been in that position myself. 25 when I was diagnosed with a rare cancer. 9 years past it tho💪

Already talk about playing games in closed stadiums. Another blow to ST holders if it happens. The way it's going any home matches after Sunderland will be at risk. Sounds good.

Not sure they'd have to refund season ticket holders. Most companies work under the premise of not refunding people if extreme natural causes happen outside their control. Pretty sure this would fit into that category, but could be wrong Well, if you had tickets for a concert and it was cancelled you would get your money back. I would imagine if they didn’t that would be another blow to their season ticket sales next season. County Cricket members don't get refunds for rain affected days.

In 2002 aged 37 I was diagnosed with cancer and was fortunate to have probably the top male cancer specialist in the UK looking after me. When given the option to have chemo I asked him what he would do. His response was I wouldn't want someone to poison my body!! Back to Covid 19 how many people worldwide die from the flu or tuberculosis each year. No one masks up or self isolates due to these killer viruses.
