My delight at my prediction coming true can only be described as undescribable ! Lol. You haven`t entirely embraced the ways and means of your adopted country, have you, Nobby? I don't feel you have to, to be honest. After all, if I were to move to Papua New Guinea I wouldn't start chopping off people's heads and eating them would I. No, it's best to stay the way you are, no matter where you are. I am English for gawd's sakes. No need to adapt to any of these heathen activities.

Fair play to them though. At least they got to Moscow, which is more than their Grandads did! Parking this outside of the Germans hotel, was a clever move by the Russians.
Would have been better if it were loaded. I suppose soon we'll see the French retreat from Moscow repeated?

Any players or teams you are particularly looking forward to watching? Apart from the usual suspects, I'm looking forward to seeing Daniel Arzani (Australia), Moussa Konate (Senegal), Hirving Lozano (Mexico), Emil Forsberg (Sweden), Aleksandr Golovin (Russia) and Pione Sisto (Denmark).

Going back a while, here are some of the dangermen who have put us to the sword in past Euros & World Cups. We knew all about them beforehand, but still stood by and let them zap us anyway: Figo Rivaldo Ronaldinho Zidane Larson Balotelli Suarez Tardelli Maradona (bastard) Van Basten Brolin Gerd Muller (twice) Beckenbauer Seeler
I have a feeling Falcao and / or Cuadrado will go on the list tonight.

Their tricky little playmaker Juan Fernando Quintero will need to be watched closely and the 6ft 5in Barcelona defender Yerry Mina will be a threat at set pieces (2 goals already).
