SMH Internal enquiries now Either there is a lot of bullsh*t about, or there are people that really should keep their own counsel Peter I'm afraid there has been several internal enquires about info that has been released/disclosed on this forum. Sorry, I was taking you refering in regard s to Steve Hamer or Do you mean an enquiry from news raised from the floor?
We have had #HoltbyGate and countless other rumours and innuendo about many things.
I wouldn't be surprised if there have been internal enquiries if people are 'leaking' information, as once again many things are being said that appear deliberately to try and undermine the owners who seem to just want to go about their business.
We can all debate whether communication has been good enough and whether The Al-Qadi's understand the 'need' of some to know everything, but they are bankers and in that line of work as well as others there is a need for professional ethics and I wouldn't be surprised if they got p*ssed off with people 'spilling the beans'

I've just chucked some detials in to an online calculator London office space. An office with, meeting room, 1450sq ft in total is very close to £250k per annum. Do we know where this is meant to be in London? The rates vary loads...

So why was there an internal enquiry when this news was raised at the AGM, as too who released this info? Why don't you tell me? Whatever the answer is it seems completely irrelevant to the fact that there is absolutely no way a two desk office in London costs a quarter of a million pounds in premises costs. I suggest you ask SH, as he quoted the figures at the AGM. I assume you are not implying that he gave incorrect info. No-one has said how the £250k figure was arrived at and no-one asked at the AGM. Just reporting what was said.

But someone has stated that some ITK are irked that they cannot obtain info from the present owners whereas the previous owners "leaked like a sieve".

The S Glos website suggests otherwise, can a local authority really keep that secret? Although Wael did say if the club progressed with the stadium then they would need to re-apply in any event. Although I assume like buying a car the club was offered a 1, 2 , 3 etc years lease deal and just went for 2 years on the basis they can extend it further when the need arises. In all honesty, I really don't know but 81s post certainly rings true with other things I've been told which I found interesting since we have disagreed often in the past about things going on in the background. I was sceptical of the work being carried out but I was given chapter and verse on it and it makes total sense. There was also an impression given that a stay at the Mem could also be on the cards but there have been no plans redrawn currently. Firstly I was surprised at how little cost the temp stands actually are to install and rent for a season, basically if we get 1 company to sponsor each stand at around £10k then it pays for the rent for the season, the ticket sales for each stand are then pure profit. I believe one stand has already been agreed for sponsorship. Also with all the revamp work they actually tendered it to the construction companies that actually sponsor the club either directly or through the 1883, this has enabled the club to get a better rate card, which of course reduces spend. We definitely have a shirt sponsor for next year but very tight lipped on who they are. But it’s a multi year sponsorship. I asked that why all of this positive news couldn’t be communicated directly in a positive way to the fans? Because all of this work that’s being done on the face of it appears a waste of money and only indicates one thing and that the club has no plans to move forward with a new ground. It was agreed that it should and could have been communicated better and it’s something that the club want to improve on. The position has been taken that by doing nothing, it’s pushed the club further and further behind because we have constantly relied upon new projects but we also need a few short term fixes. The are some good positives going on but still so much more to sort and there is no doubt it drags us nowhere near the 20th century

The way I see it is that there is a) Real info being leaked b) Bullsh*t being ‘leaked’ c) Info with elements of truth either misinterpreted/understood or deliberately twisted d) A combination of all 3 People seem to show what Hani has for breakfast, yet no one ever sees him. The ‘inner circle’ can’t be that big so where is all this ‘information’ coming from IS everything perfect no?, is everything we want to happen happening or happening as quick as we would like? No But once again Dwane Sports seem to be doing far more and making weighted business decisions and going about it’s business. Business which is more than ehat has happened for years at this club and t seems some people can’t wait to put the boot in? I don’t know whether people are so hung up on the UWE project that it blinds them to anything else or what. I have heard my own stories of how good/bad the UWE deal was before the AQ’s took over, which would contradict those that think it is/was the be all and end all for this football club and would probably back up why it took so long to sort things out or not as it were

Just reporting what was said. I'm evidently not suggesting anything of the sort. I wasn't at the AGM but it was pretty widely reported on here that he had mentioned that included staff costs. Given your recent record of conveniently forgetting statements that don't support your agenda I'm fairly satisfied that I'm not mis-remembering what was reported to have been said.

That fan has been pictured alongside Wael which have been published in local press. I’ve seen the messages he leaks and it discusses things like Holtbygate, transfers of players and personalities of the management team. That said person was also a member here before deleting his account when he got found out. So it’s not a tight a circle as you like to think it is. The UWE deal was the best chance this club had of a new stadium, that was still in proximity to our heartland with an opportunity to grow, and having seen various numbers on it, I cannot see what part of it was a horrendously bad deal.

I know of one person who has become closeish to Wael, and Wael may well tell him something, but said person has never leaked stuff that I am aware of. So I would guess it is someone else

I can confirm that Ian Holtby's pet cat leaked to me that the ice-cream float and cocaine budget at the London office is astronomical.

Ok FWIW with my (very) limited and (extremely) tenuous links to the club, i am now led to believe this is gathering pace. I can also corroborate what Gashead1981 has stated. The shop is paid for by Macron, no brainer right!? The bar works on both side of the ground are a combination of insurance monies and input from Thatchers, no brainer right!? The stands, well, limited cost to implement and once in place will be profitable pretty sharpish i wouild imagine. All this cr@p about stadium improvements being proof there is no long term plan is just well cr@p. It simply proves we now have people at the club who know how to get things done. Sit tight people its likely to be a bumpy ride. Don't private message me... you know who you are! Yes, you are quite right I do know who I am

I understand that the reason we didn't progress with UWE is that the ground is very hard, and putting in tent pegs is almost impossible

I had to chortle when you mentioned Bankers and professional ethics in the same sentence As in all professions it depends on the individuals - not fair to class all the same - one has to judge the individuals on a personal experience basis. How many who post on here have actual personal experience of Wael and of Hani and the other members of the family?
