Good win tonight against a team who came for a point and were difficult to break down. LT the best player on the pitch. If Evans is staying I hope he gets some intensive coaching in the summer - there is no doubting his skill but his decision making (eg when to shoot) leaves a lot to be desired. Sinclair played well again, as did Rossiter. Satisfactory work tonight! Looking forward to my last match of he season against Posh on Saturday - lets finish the season with 4 straight wins!

Yes we were very poor today - no hiding from that. But the 2 goals came from woeful defending by individuals. For the first goal why did Conteh stop - was he expecting Jed to come out? For the second there were many chances to stop the attacker but mainly Gordon should have blocked the shot. And sorry to say it when he has just won a new contract, but like in the Lincoln game, the opposiiton keeper looked more assured than Jed - dont get me wrong I want hime to do well, but if that was Cox in goal today he would have been crucified (pun intended) on this forum for that performance.

I second that!! This bloke hasn’t got a clue. Though i would add...the man a fair few fans turned on as he wasnt banging in the goals ...left. since then the goal threat has dried up as our main assist has gone. Coincidence Martin has stopped scoring ? ...maybe...maybe not. Of course we miss AC - he is a class player. But we should still have enough in the team to creat chances. Unfortunately Evans and Finlay have gone missing which means few chances created. Hopefully Monday's team will include Grant Ward and Aguilera - at least chances will be created even if we dont take them!

There is no point blaming the manager for this - the players were second to the ball all over the pitch. No coincidence that we only started to look vaguely threatening in attack when Evans and Finlay went off. Looking on the positive side it should make the retained list easier to define. Wilson does not look good enough. Finlay does not look good enough. Gordon does not look good enough. I thought Jed Ward had a poor game - he will need serious competition if he is to keep his standard high enough to be in a team challenging at the top next season.

No one has really been consistent enough to be an obvious contender. But for sheer class I would say Thomas has been the best.
For young player I suspect it will go to Jed, mainly due to the 'one of our own' bias, but the one who I feel deserves it is Vale who has looked classy wherever he plays - and his adaptability.

Until the last few games I would have said Vale was our player of the season. He was consistently our best player before Christmas but has gone off the boil since his mystery illness/injury. But he will recover from that and next season it wouldnt surprise me to see him break into the Chelsea squad. The truth is I dont think Gasheads are great judges of talent. Quansah was not seen positively and I remember many on this forum slagging off Tom Lockyer when he was with us. So, sadly, I would say no chance of Vale being with us next season - but if Ipswich get promoted I would take Baggot back (I suspect Ipswih may want him if they stay down), and taking Aguilera would be a no-brainer but I doubt he will be available again.

no. I watched the match - did you? Yes, for your information I have watched every single game this season. You don’t need me to explain how I have watched quite a number of them though? As regards today, they were quite clearly a better side than us, didn’t shut up shop and allowed us to play, but picked us off with ease withouthaving to break sweat. If we have more than three or four players that played today in our team next season we will fail yet again. Yes they were a better side mainly due to having a better goalkeeper (on the day) and confident, clinical finishing. I know we're not allowed to criticise Jed but I really felt he was off his game today whereas their keeper closed the angles perfectly each time we had an opening. Lincoln had 5 shots on target and 5 goals. We had more shots on target and zero goals. That suggests to me that we were matching them in most departments except finishing and goalkeeping.

Shocking game made worse by that dreadful commentator who was clearly really enjoying our rubbish performance. Almost unbearable listening to her but couldn’t face the thought of listening to the Lincoln commentary. Watch with the sound off...much more enjoyable even whenwe lose 5-0!

Difference between the teams today was clinical finishing and goalkeeping. All the rest was pretty even. You surely are kidding? no. I watched the match - did you?

Did nothing at Rotherham, and doing much more here. If there is a clear out for next season it needs to start sooner Than later with Taylor leading the way. Woefully short of everything today ,is there no pride left within this squad ,ffs 🤬🤬🤬 Disagree. I thought at 3-0 down we actually showed good mental strength and played some good football. Problem is we cannot finish and unfortunately their keeper got his angles right and Jed didnt.
