A lot of positives today, thought we did enough to win, but they had a few chances second half, would love to keep The Sweeney and Lumley, both excellent. Bob Harris looked good, think we might need three new strikers in for next season, hope we are studying the options now, seems that Chris Hargreaves is concentrating on kids being released in the future so hopefully we can secure some quality released talent.

Another good game again today against tough opposition, however I thought we played them off the park in the first half and should of scored at least 2 or 3. Sadly lacking that killer instinct in front of goal at the moment but to be honest in defence of our strikers the service up to them wasn't and hasn't been great of late. Absolute shocker of a pass from Ellis to basically give them the equaliser but on the balance of play in the second half a draw was probably a fair result. I'm not going to have a pop at Ellis as we all make mistakes from time to time but I will have to say it was a gem of a mistake ! Let's not be too hard on the kid as he will be feeling worse than us lot tonight. Still mini unbeaten run continues and who knows we might just upset Bolton on Tuesday night ! Unlucky gas but good point against a good team UTG !!!!!!

BTW - I think Gaffney should almost get an assist for our goal.
very effective standing in front of the goalie, although quite why the goalie didn't do anything about it, and why their central defender (Murray wallace) was 'marking' Gaffers by being NON goal side of him was rather bizarre.
