It would be. We were at home and we usually get 4 or so. last 4 home games goals scored 4/4/2/5 that's 15 for the maths *****! Not bad for a load of conference muppets! Tremendous result today that should silence a few doubters and I wish jj small toole a very good evening I'm sure he really enjoyed his wonderful afternoon UTG! |

Interesting comments from the Cobblers' forum:
The Bristol Rovers starting XI all played for them in League Two last season, along with most of the subs. If this doesn't prove that D'Ath, Byrom, McDonald etc should have been in the 18 I don't know what does. Its all about continuity, players raise their game. You can't pigeon hole players, saying they arent good enough for the level above.

Only made promotion in the last minute of the season, finished 14 points below us but have now done the double scoring 8 goals in the process. You're right, they held on to most of the squad, and despite having new rich owners they haven't gone out and splashed the cash because they've not needed to!!

We lost H and drew A last season I think with same team. Now a double win. If we play like that vs the more established L1 sides as well as Wombles and Cobblers we are def in the play off mix |

Great first half of football,tore them to shreds.
Olly Clarke and Lines top notch,infact all played well.
Plus of course super Ellis who had his best all round game today.
Well done DC and the boys,happy days are here again.UTG
