Loving it. Seems like we have found our feet in this league. Certainly strong enough to consolidate and who knows what else!!

Stu Sinclair booked, that's 5 unfortunately - will miss the next game No great loss. We never win with him in the team anyway.

A routine win For 19th placed Bristol Rovers to routinely beat 2nd place Port Vale Shame on me for thinking we should get a win eh? I suspect his criticism of your post was based on the fact you characterised it as a ROUTINE win.

Good result. That's six unbeaten now.....Are the team now realising they are good enough for this division ?

Shame on me for thinking we should get a win eh? I suspect his criticism of your post was based on the fact you characterised it as a ROUTINE win. We should be beating teams like Vale at home, especially when you consider their away form over the past year against our home form for the past two years. It should have been, and seemed to be a routine win so we move on.

It should have been, and seemed to be a routine win so we move on. Not many routine games in this league though. I thought Rochdale was the other week but they went and beat Milwall away today. Certainly had a feel of needing a win there though, not winning 3 winnable home games on the bounce would've been annoying. Tough game against Sheff U next, that'll show some character if we come away from there with anything. Nothing to fear in this league though - we are certainly good enough to be competing at the right end of the table and I don't feel like we're going to get battered by anyone. That feeling of going into away games knowing we'd lose by 3 or 4 is a thing of the past thankfully.

Sinclair's yellow was never a booking, both players had their backs to the ref, so he couldn't even see it. He picked up one in the abandoned Swindon game which was down to the water on the pitch, so I reckon he's unlucky to get to 5 yellows so soon.

Doha was upset that you dismissed his team, and presumably even more upset when you were proved right. UTG

Having failed to beat Rochdale & Walsall in our last two home wins I can't see how beating PV was "routine", given we are still finding our feet in Div 1.
Losing Sincs for the Sheffield Utd game is a blow, unless it's already been marked down as a routine win for the Blades? If so, there's no need to worry about team selection.
