Apparently we are in discussions to sign 6ft 5inc Brad Warburton. A Bristolian goalkeeper who has been plying his trade in the states for the last couple of years. Anyone else heard this?

Yeah both would be ideal I suppose. Sounds like the lad Warburton has so much untapped potential though and coming from Bristol might already be a gashead!? This is surely a good thing we are looking at younger keepers especially as mildy is 37/38 now!

Apparently his agent is a guy from Weston super mare called rob waters and he is holding talks with DC in a Newport hotel tomorrow at 2pm! Exciting times!!

Just did some googling and your right. He emigrated to the states in 2007 and has had more than 200 appearences in the MLS. He was on LA Galaxys books for a while but was overlooked for a bigger name when they started to buy galacticos.
His most striking statistic is that he has saved 9 of the 14 penalties he has competitively faced. DC would def have brought him off the bench at wembley last season!

Mildy has had a great comeback but this is definitely the right time to look for his replacement, even if the replacement dosen't play for a while. I can't find anything online, does anyone have any links?

Couldn't agree more with that Pucklechurch gas...I've found quite a bit on this new keeper and all sounds very promising! Fingers crossed he could be our number 1 for years to come as we head to the premier league! Certainly looks a big enough fella in that picture!
