I believe now the CC is upon us they will re-assess their offer depending on the result. So in my opinion we are unlikely to hear anything for at least a few weeks and possibly more before it gets interesting (fully understand those who say same old then cause we know sod all now) but this was always going to be a patience game and the only good news is that at present we still have a chance of winning the CC and whatever happens we have a group of people (consortium - call it what you will) that are ready to invest substantially in our club and contrary to rumours it is my understanding they are still very serious about a possible takeover albeit sadly they appear to be very quiet publically. So i am still optimistic but i really can't see us finding out full details of the clubs fabled Plan B, A takeover bid, Other investors for weeks even if as predicted we are likely to get a quick decision from the Judge in the Sainsbury's debacle - UTG! What sort of deliberation time are we expecting from the judges, 2-3 weeks? After the result is known higgs will have to give a statement as to what the club's plans are to move forward, and the usual wishy washy stuff surely won't be tolerated. Of course the wishy washy stuff will be tolerated! We put up with being fed any old bullshit and roll over and accept it. Currently 66% of fans are more than happy to give up ownership of our ground ffs. Its a Dam joke and I really despair for our future. |

I think it could be worse than that Hugo, how many fans read this and the other forums? If I didn't then I would be relying on the official website and local press which have deigned to report much. I really would be that proverbial "mushroom".

It seems strange to me that certain posters put a different angle to that posted by JTS or others. The bottom line is that the Consortium is still here, and will make their move when the case is resolved. NH will not do anything until then so it is pointless twisting messages from posters.
As I understand it, the consortium has no intention of walking away, and when they deem the time is right, everything will be made public. The timescales for that are down to them and no one else.
So query what JTS or me or anyone else says, but it will only be speculation until either the consortium or NH or both decide when to go public.

I'd normally have some sympathy with what you are saying but..... Jon and is someone I would consider a friend and I know that he is not one to talk bullshit and even less likely to post it on here. He cares very deeply for Rovers and is a passionate and loyal man. He has posted what he has in good faith in the belief that it's true. He has been consistent in his information (aside from getting us all excited last week). I also know that Jon would have gone to great lengths to check out what he has been told. He is not the gullible sort so he will have verified what he could before passing on information. It is possible that he has been played or lied to. That was one of the first things I said to him when this broke. He has repeatedly said if this proves to be the case he will happily hang the liar out to dry. I realize that on the face of it this all seems like total bollocks and while part of me thinks exactly like you I know there is no way Jon would make this up. |

Tbf I quoted gasincider, I have NEVER said anything derogatory about jts, never. I don't think I have ever quoted him on this thread. All I have said RE:jts is that its bullshit what he's been told.
