I know when our Fleet Air Arm 892 squadron base was moved from Yeovilton to RAF Leuchars, the WAAF's preferred sailors to Bryilcream boys,no surprise really.

You Wafu's are all the same, work with serving and retired 36 years working for RR after leaving the RN , think I have earned my retirement. Proud to be a WAFU , used to pi55 the ships crew off because we were always last on and first off. |

Left Pilning at the age of 16 and went to Army Apprentice College Aborfield, to train as a vehicle mechanic. Some twenty three odd years later I joined civvy street, completed another seven years as a part-timer. People wonder why I am crazy and have a drink problem, only got two hands and one mouth. I'm beginning to wonder if all the secrecy behind the Consortium might be because South Gloucestershire council and UWE are part of it. Perhaps along with a group of wealthy fans (ex-directors?),
The ideas of a multi-millionaire like Noel Edmonds wanting to invest, or a group of Americans who want to spend £40m on 'sawccer' are implausible at best.
This is related to Nick Higgs' Plan B, which some rumours suggested was for a scaled-down stadium paid for by UWE.
Perhaps the stadium could be 1/3 owned by UWE, SGC and the club, but built to full spec, and with substantial investment by the private investors in the playing squad to get success on the pitch and fill the stadium.
And of course NH would have to leave.....

Wasn't "rapid fire" your nickname with the Wrens? I'll have you know that some of those Wrens received the best seven seconds of their sexual life with me ! was that 6 secs to unbutton their blouse, and one second to say sorry love it sorta dripped on its own you needed to learn pot noodle sex, fill yer pot noodle with boiling water, foreplay for 2 mins yes nobby count slowly to 120, jump back out of bed stir pot noodle, get down to buisness when your finished you still have 1min 58 seconds to top up your pot noodle and stir it again |
