Will the consortium wait until the result of the appeal? I just don't know.
What was the MSP loan for? It was to be used to fund the court hearing, partially repay GD's loan(£200k), and the balance to fund the club until the end of this season.
NH won't risk administration? Really? Assuming we lose the appeal, just how do we clear the MSP loan? The bottom line is he is playing roulette with our future. He has placed all his chips on black, and is gambling it doesn't come up r*d. I can't even get myself to spell the word.
We have now reached our ground zero, and sadly, if he does win ( he won't) we get second prize, he stays in charge. What a future. He still can't afford to build the UWE and Sainsburys would then own the Mem. He says the club would only have to pay off the MSP loan, as the rest of the loans are in house. Perhaps he has forgotten that GD, and RK are no longer directors, and can ask for repayment of their loans. I doubt they would, but that is yet another gamble he is taking with our club.
You really couldn't make it up.

There is no way Nick would take us into administration, because he will lose his investment, there is a party interested in buying us so he sells to them after the hearing, one way or another. Surely an "investment" makes money not losses millions? At some point our debts are going to become so great we'll have to go into Admin, as we're not even paying off any of the wonga loan interest at present let alone paying off the loan unless we can sell MT or TL for silly money, as far as somebody looking to buy us what is there to actually buy if we lose the Appeal? Although after Wembley knowing NH luck then we'll win the Appeal to save his skin. Higgs luck??? If it wasn't for bad luck, we would be in the Uwe now. It was a brilliant scheme and the way it was done in secret with partners was great. It was unlucky that because of delays and a change in shopping trends, Sainsburys changed there mind. We have had bad luck on this for ages now, about time our luck changed!

If Radice and the other assholes hadn't put a block in, UWE would be well underway and there would be a supermarket in BS7.

The thread has evolved! It was about green shoots and a bright future. Now we are reading of administration, roulette and gloom.

NH only puts on new socks every day, never old ones ! Is this the reason for the lack of money in the club, if not I will think of a new reason tomorrow.

I see in the news that NH has ordered all fish killed in that lake to stop people fishing it, or was it the Green infested Council ? not sure , but I bet I can link NH to it if I try hard enough.

If Nick has genuinely gone into this appeal with no plan b and we end up losing everything (and I mean everything) then he's going to be utterly, utterly crucified. I just don't believe he would be stupid enough to bank the existence of the club on this appeal without some sort of idea of what might be required (and how to action it) in order to keep the club afloat if we lose.
But then I assumed we had a plan b before relegation to the conference as well. And in the absence of any information to the contrary then it's hard to be too optimistic.

Not sure I understand that. What would be the benefit to Sainsburys of going through the whole process knowing they were pulling out of the deal at a later stage?

What would be the benefit to Sainsburys of going through the whole process knowing they were pulling out of the deal at a later stage? To prevent their competitors from purchasing the site? Not 100% sure, but I believe that they have a similar history with other sites.

Well hopefully they end up with the site anyway and if they don't want a supermarket then they can turn it into a large distribution centre - albeit with a nice set of gates and a memorial garden. That would stick it right up Ms Radish.

As you are clearly still pro NH what do you see as our future if we lose the Appeal and it turns out the consortium doesn't exsist or, if they do, they are not prepared to meet the debts NH has run up? Sainsbury's are clearly confident of winning the Appeal or otherwise they wouldn't have incurred the additional legal costs of imposing the charge against the Mem.

There is more faith on this thread than most of the major religions have. I don't believe there is a "consortium", neither do I believe in a plan "B" nor do I think we will get anything from Sainsbury. Of course I am hoping for 2 of the three, then we wont need a plan B, but what I have seen so far is nothing. And until I see it, or read it then it remains nothing.

I am only pro Bristol Rovers, I will say that most of the rubbish spouted on here is wild guess work put out as fact and that does P me off. but to be honest I don't have a clue ( like 99.9% of people on here and that includes those ITK ).
