Given that 12 different investors have approached the club and a deal clearly hasn't been done with any of them as we limp towards the Appeal hearing with debts of circa £8m, then don't you think some of us are entitled to be a bit concerned about NH's approach? Apart from Admin &/or sellling the Mem to pay off the debts I can't really see where NH is actually taking the club? Perhaps someone can ask NH how bad any of these investors could have been compared to losing a court appeal with a huge outside loan of circa £2m accruing interest Plus some evidence the that present BoD are able to keep the club afloat for the next 3 to 4 years. Given he's apparently insisting any new investors are capable of doing that, in addition to financing the UWE build? |

I suppose the current board could prove that £3m would keep the club afloat - ie 4 years losses at £0.75m. If that's the case, those trying to buy us really can't have much financial clout! They may of course have a marketing plan! Await news re the Thai & Russian investors!!! |

On t'other forum, JTS says that a confidentiality agreement was signed three weeks ago. This thread started, what, seven or eight weeks ago (can't be arsed to check), so what was all that nonsense at the start of the thread regarding the nudge, nudge, wink, wink but we can't say anything as it's all super duper top secret confidential ?

If you ever find yourself stranded on a desert island, and the only source of food is some pigs ears, I recommend you gently cook them over an open fire, then drizzle some extra virgin olive oil on them, and your hunger will soon be sated. You might have to root around for some olive oil though. Ray Mears taught me that trick. |
