I wonder if comments regarding the court case rovers v sainsburys should be suspended untill the outcome is known. I have seen this done on press releases etc. I am just a bit worried that if we get abusive or derogatory stuff on here it may harm our cause. Feel free anybody to tell me I am being paranoid.

I agree with the OP.
I feel quite strongly that the best way to support the club right now is to do and say nothing.

There are comments made regularly about how the Evil Post takes comments off our forums and for that reason we need to be careful when "people in the know" make comments.

What precisely can fans say that lawyers dealing with a multi million pound case don't already know, particularly when posters know so little about the case?
All we need to do is make sure posters don't start abusing Sainsbury's Directors/lawyers etc
Next we'll have a thread suggesting we don't talk about Rovers in case Barnet etc use it to their own advantage in the final run in?

Well that's surely just forum nonsense rather than a threat to our legal case?

Well that's surely just forum nonsense rather than a threat to our legal case? What that Sainbury's have offered Rovers Millions? According to the poster NH said it after being asked by a reporter. Funnily enough the poster is the only one to know this.

I don't think the ramblings on this forum wil have any bearing on the outcome of the court hearing. No one posting on here has any knowledge of the contractural situation between the parties and I doubt very much that anyone amongst the select few would be writing comments on here. All this forum provides is an opportunity for frustrated fans to discuss the situation as they see it, and there's nothing wrong with that I can't really see a situation where, in summing up, the Learned Judge says "I was minded to make a full award in favour of the Stadium Company with additional punitive damages against J. Sainsbury until I chanced to read through several threads on something called GAs Chat forum. Having digested some of the scurrilous, inaccurate and downright rude comments contained therein I find myself compelled to find in favour of said Sainsburys. in summary, I would say to the contributors on that forum........ "You're sh!t, and you know you are, You're sh!t, and you know you are"..............

The reality is that it may not get that far.
By imposing this date it is forcing Sainsburys to act rather than sitting back and just leaving Rovers hanging. Lets face it no-one denies that a contract exists and it is now down to Sainsburys to prove that Rovers have broken it. We cant gauge how strong a case they have because they haven't really needed to do anything until now.
This should be fairly clear cut however as everything is in black and white and either the contract is broken or it is not

Do I assume that if Rovers win the case you will also wish to sing the praises of the people who put the contract in place?
