Not seen it mentioned on any Rovers sites but if we win the 2nd round game, we will be home to Arsenal. Not sure if legit as it was an on line scoop.
I remember we had around 2,500 when we played Liverpool u18s in a defeat on pens. Elliot Richards scored twice in a 2-2 draw.
If true and we get through it could be a nice little earner for Byron's academy sides.

Hertford Town shouldn't be taken lightly. Got a good youth setup for the level and a pathway to the 1st team where a number of their lads have feature this season at senior level. Will be a tough test and our lads can't get complacent. Potential banana skin.

Totally agree with you Pirate. Very good set up there with boys being taken by pro clubs. They knocked Cambridge out on last round who Rovers academy drew 3 all with . Plus massive incentive for Hertford as Arsenal a fairly local club and a lot of Arsenal fans in Hertford

It would be really nice if details of the youth cup are being announced and referred to constantly when we are playing Blackpool.
If we do get that fixture with Arsenal youth then ylthe crowd might already feel invested enough to get to the game.
