The ALS do attend games. They just don’t go around the local pubs and bars first. I am sure one of the box holders on here said they seen Abdul at a game recently. Your second point, why do you have faith in Wael to find good buyers? You clearly don’t think these guys are good owners and guess who found them…. Better the devil you know? I've no confidence the ALS can take the club forward, at least Wael built a new stand and the training ground. What have the ALS done, got pp for the large TV but never installed it and also talked about redeveloping the Mem with the local residents, that's about it. How long did it take Wael to do this? We are what….14 months in? What had Wael done at that point? I have no faith in the Kuwaitis but I also have none in Wael. If we are looking for new owners (doesn’t sound like we are , or at least not the man with the biggest say) then I wouldn’t let him near picking them!

More unrest, Wael could fall out with a Christmas tree fairy. Do we want Barton, Garner, the thieving Col Gibson, lounge lizard Gorringe back at the club ! I think not, back the Kuwaities, at least they know how a business should be run.

Thought you might have mustered together a consortium to buy the Rovers?

Got to love this forum. You have some fans saying they think it's football manager, they are trying to pick the team at the ground daily and trying to do everything. Then some saying they are never present🤣. Just because they don't put it on Twitter, does that mean they are not present? Not really sure what your point is to be honest re Twitter. I don't think the Alsaeeds attend games. Are you happy with the Alsaeeds? If Wael now wants to regain control but has backing elsewhere, I have more faith on him. Would the Alsaeeds written off 30m of debt, I don't think so. Daniel has always been happy with all of the owners because he can’t separate the best interests of the owners from the best interests of the FC. He has seen 2 potential game changing opportunities for the FC to build grounds that would take us to another level thrown away by the owners of the FC and yet he has fervently supported whoever threw away the opportunity because he can’t distinguish between the interests of the owner and the best interests of the FC. And here he is is now supporting the owners again for not communicating with the fans about what plans they might have to develop the Mem, the club and our potential.

Must be a nice place to be though. Just to ask, what two projects are we talking about? The UWE is obviously one but that fruit market deal can’t be classed the same. It was so so so far away from being done it’s laughable.

I agree that the latter was probably never really much more than Wael’s fantasy but my point is that Daniel just swallows verbatim whatever the owner tells him including that it was ever a goer in the first place. UWE was the best opportunity this club has ever had or probably ever will have to move to a higher plain. Everything was in place except Higgs didn’t have the money to push it over the line once Sainsbury’s collapsed. Yet too many of our supporters fall for the Al Qadi line that the deal wasn’t in the best interests of the FC when in reality they just didn’t want to or were unable to commit the required capital.

Another hilarious thread of serial posters pretending they know everything and arguing about things someone else just made up. Anyway this is roadmans last post on the thread. Wait. Who’s arguing? People are just having a discussion.

True story but my attention was drawn to three youngish Dutchmen alighting from a Private Hire vehicle outside of the ground at around 2.30 yesterday. Seemed rather confident in themselves. Well, I say they were Dutch, they could have been Scandinavian but in any eventuality they were foreign. Clearly confident and obviously had a few quid as they could afford a Private Hire fare. Anyway, I'd never seen them at the ground before and I recognise most people who go to games. I was going mention to them that this was a local club for local people but before I got the words out they were gone into the crowd. They were pretty light on their feet, so potentially, could have been ex professional footballers. Hope this helps to firm up any rumours

So the deal that was bad for the club was made up, but the fact that UWE was the best deal the club has ever had (that you've just made up) is true. Makes sense. The only facts around UWE is that no one knows what the deal was, or whether it was good or bad for the club.

I think not, back the Kuwaities, at least they know how a business should be run. Not much sign so far of the ALS being able to run a business, given that crowds are down by over 1,000 a match on last season and the Mem looks exactly the same as when the ALS arrived.
