Calls himself the Official Club Historian but hasn't been given that title by anyone but himself. Sure he once claimed to have fought in World War 1? lol If he was 18 in 1918 he’d now be 124.

A few weeks back I was certainly in MT out camp, however recent weeks with the rumours (weather they true or not) have made me gain some respect and support for him as it can’t be easy outside noise.
In my opinion there’s too many “dodgy moments” for me to think the Al-Saaeds are the right people to take us forward - from JCH saga, interviewing managers, Conteh transfer deal etc but I can’t speak for any of the other rumours that arent borderline confirmed.
What does catch my attention is the fact in the last 6 months there have been 3 ex members of staff basically state the owners had a grip on the club in a negative way.
James Belshaw - recent podcast spoke about the Owners promising Mangs the job if he won a certain amount of games then didn’t give it, then blocked his move back to the club, and then asking FGR/Harrogate for a significant transfer fee.
Joey Barton - Take with pinch of salt as JB is JB, his recent show he spoke about Abdul and another bloke trying to get him to play wingers in a certain style and tried to force his hand on it despite JB being the man employed to coach football and be knowledgeable at football.
Sam Finley - Spoke on BBC radio Bristol about how MT was keen to keep him and played him in most games up till end of season, but owners weren’t willing to offer new deal.
To me there is too much unprofessional activity going on, even for Rovers! And quite perhaps from a moral perspective not brilliant either when your promising people things or behind managers back trying to find replacement.
Apologies for long message but was unsure if anyone was even aware of the Belshaw and Barton comments in the last few weeks.

Just had Quick Look and someone called Harry Buckle is claiming / thinks Wael has been banned from the Mem for revealing takeover talk To be fair, he (partly) raised it as a question.
"about an hour ago harrybuckle said: Is it true that Wael been banned from the Mem ?
The consortium news has angered the owners"
No one has confirmed or denied at this stage.
Wael's recently posted a strange picture of the AJIB bank in Jordan on his Instagram. I assume that means he's back home, not sure of the significance of the AJIB building, perhaps it means he's returning to his job at the bank?

It's not good that the owners are getting involved too much, but at the same time, I think Barton was given too much of a free licence, when he was in charge. The owners have to have a say, but the manager should always have the final say. It looks like the owners want to sign young players, rather than experienced players and they are hoping we develop them and make a profit. That's okay to some extent, but we need some experienced players to help them come through.

Assuming the congestion even took place (JB's hardly the best at telling the truth) we've no idea what context it was said, it could have just been as simple as Hussain saying he likes to watch teams playing with wingers, not trying to order JB to play wingers?
