It's the same thing everytime we have a new commercial director/CEO/Fans manager.
Surely there is a list somewhere which each one compiled that never got ticked off.

I can never understand why they need fans to tell them what needs improving, surely from his time at Lincoln & PV he's got his own list? Problems is for us is we've no idea what budget he's got, if he really wants fans views why doesn't he just hold a Fans Forum to discuss what can and can't be done? Were there any updates on the return of the big TV?

Hi Richie
I’d like us to start regularly winning football matches whilst playing decent football.

Hi Richie I’d like us to start regularly winning football matches whilst playing decent football. Regards, The Dirt Dogg When was the last time we did that in league 1 ? I’m thinking probably DCs side right after we won our back to back promotions ? What a great side that was and Lansdown poaching Taylor to derail us was the beginning of the end of that. Since then it’s been pretty football with no end product or dull but effective or somewhere in between. Of course every fan of every club wants their team to win matches playing decent football but as you go down through the levels that becomes less likely. I’d take a top half finish with this young squad playing any way that gets us there to be honest. It would be our highest finish in nearly a decade and only our 2nd top half league 1 finish in 3 decades ( I think )

That's not really in his remit? Perhaps he could get hot running water in all the toilets,as that seems a similar task we're struggled to do for years!

Whatever next?

As it stands (pun intended) the stadium needs to be regenerated and that in itself will cure a lot of fans grumbles about matchday experience because simply it will have better facilities which means kids aren't wading through pee in the toilets during match day, there's adequate wheel chair access etc etc. We don't need bigger we just need better.

His job would become easier if we had a decent stadium to watch football in and an attacking side to watch.
Seemingly too much to ask for though in the 21st century.
Our owners should be embarrassed at the current stadium and the lack of activity to do something pro-active with the East and North Stands, sides much smaller than us have much better infrastructure, much of it put in since 1996 when we first moved back. in nearly 30 years we have managed a roof on the North Stand and a temporary south stand which was a circus in planning and delivery.

Completely agree. It’s fairly easy to see what they need to do and let’s hope he has. But experience has taught me it’s what people do when they go into a new organisation with a responsibility to ‘improve’ things. They connect with the customers/ fans/ users/ whatever to get their views. It’s a fairly easy achieved first step which gains them some browny points. What they have to do then is put whatever feedback they get into some kind of plan and roll it out. With time lines, costs etc. And experience has also taught me that at BRFC such people are dependent on the owners, the budget available and the time they manage to last in the job. Good luck to the guy and if he succeeds, albeit partly, it will be an achievement. UTG! ps. And it’s similar to current politics (sorry mods, prob not in right place but…) Wes Streeting is talking about asking customers about the NHS before rolling out what this new government is going to do. Yet we were all assured that they, the new government, had a plan of what to do and it was all costed out. I’m not sure they did because now they are vacillating about what will happen. Typical politicians, they really don’t have a scooby-do what they will do long term re reorganisation of the NHS. Consulting will give them time.

The stadium ( If I can call it that ) is a dump. Really think we have been led down the garden path for many many years.

So in the 'Ground redevelopment' thread or whatever it was called, I recall fans moaning that they were NOT been consulted on what is needed, and on this thread, we have fans moaning as they ARE being consulted......football fans eh???
