Sounds like a decent signing. Right foot, left foot, goals and some experience and league one level. Exciting prospect.

Can only echo what others have said on this thread. Definately looks a player, a fox in the box and can score from distance. Excited about this signing.

Thanks. I wonder if it means we will change our formation. Or if he's planning on playing him as a striker. Didn't Promise play mainly as a wide player last season? Good scoring record, for someone that played mainly out wide. A lot of Watford fans unhappy they sold him and positive feedback from Orient fans. Looks a good signing on paper. One none of us were expecting! Could see it being a fluid front 3, but also adaptable. 3-4-3, or 3-4-1-2, or 3-4-2-1, or 4-2-3-1 etc. Could play a front two with either of Sotiriou, O'Donkor, Omochere and Forde, or one up top, with Sotiriou, and/or Hutchinson/Forde/Sotiriou in behind. Plenty of options for the management to consider. View AttachmentIt's great to have options. I was thinking a front 3 could work, but then he would have to drop Hutchinson, unless he plays him as one of the two in the middle. I had high hopes for Hutchinson in behind the front two. It's early days, but it hasn't worked out so far.

No doubt some will demand an explanation why we didn’t sign Raheem Sterling or Jadon Sancho Again , we didn't get the paperwork in on time

I'm a big fan of this on paper. Young, versatile, hungry, already got a decent L1 (and non league) record for someone of his age and, I assume, a financially-friendly deal in terms of wages. This is EXACTLY the type of transfers I've been crying for us to make, rather than signing free agent journeyman from the Championship or whatever like times of past (Chris Martin being a welcome exception). Looking forward to seeing our Shaq Attaq!

Missed this one last night, looks like a decent signing.
Let's hope that Shaq(a) can score goals for us.

"Feed the shaq and he will score"
Looks a great signing we re going away from seasoned journeymen, to hungry young players to develop and sell on, decent squad being assembled.

This is an interesting article, which suggests that he was either out of contract having been offered one, or at worst, had a year to go, so we might not have paid too much. Well done to all concerned (including Ruel Sotiriou, it seems!) for getting this over the line. www.londonworld.com/sport/football/watford/he-will-watford-update-on-wonderkid-contract-after-belter-brace-4508747As an aside, I found out from that article that I was there when he made his debut! Leicester are my adopted second team and he came on against them for Watford in the cup. Of course, I don’t remember him from that at all!
