Jed has joined FGR on loan for the season.
Decent enough move as its just up the road, but think he could have got L2.

Beat myself and Claremont to it by seconds. Deleted my post. I'll get a few FGR games in when fixtures allow

Decent move for Jed.
He could have probably got L2, but FGR is only just up the road and they've got a good chance of promotion this season.
I'm not sure the difference in level matters as much to a keeper anyway.
Hopefully he plays regularly and comes back ready to be our No.1 next season.

NL or Lg2 as long as he is the Number 1 and playing week in week out I think that is all that matters really.
Good Luck Jed have a good loan and come back to be our keeper next year 💪

Good move for Jed, close to home for him & the club to monitor his performances, every time he’s been loaned out previously, he’s come back a better keeper.

I Wish him the best of luck I’m sure he will improve in the national league But to be honest I think he should have gone to L2

I’ve no qualms with the move.
A 21 year old goalkeeper has joined a team just up the road who will be challenging for the conference title. He’ll be playing a full season and it’s so close by that we can keep enough tabs on him and his progress.
I know a lot would’ve liked a league 2 move, but at this stage in his career, playing regularly and developing is all that matters.

Surely we are looking at a back up keeper coming in otherwise we're stuck with Hall or recall if Griffiths gets injured

Very disappointed with that! Much better than National League. Should of been League two. Even bottom of League one.

Disappointing
A big step back. He has already coped well enough in League 1 and National League. If being loaned out again should at least been a team challenging for promotion in League 2.

I would just like us to have a 1st team keeper for Jed to challenge and not have to loan a keeper every season.

Hope he does well but that the strikers don’t score 😂

Totally disagree. Think it is a great move for him.
A full season as Number 1 and comes back to us next season as first choice keeper.
Scandalous??

Assuming he plays, could definitely win a promotion out of the NL, no easy feat. What an experience for him and still close by for us to check in with him. Much rather he was at a top NL club than a bang average L2 club.

I think it does matter. If he played every game for a team right at the bottom of L2, it’s gonna be miserable for his morale. Playing for a title challenger in the NL is a completely different experience.
