i would argue hes turned around a club whose playing fortunes have been in decline for many years ie stopped the rot,,hes also completely changed the way we dish out contracts etc,,add to that a good record at salisbury and if your club was looking for an up and coming young manager you might just consider him imo Not saying your wrong, but surely the Board sort out contracts and should take the credit for that, they get the blame for contracts in the past so maybe some credit is due now. DC is still learning his trade and I would be amased if he was in the thoughts of the Yeovil board When we are top, or there abouts of league two, next season I hope, then other clubs will have him on the radar.imo
good points,i feel that dc has worked with the board to improve the way we recruit but of course the board would have the final say on signings and contracts i hope your right about yeovil town not going for him

he has done nothing to merit taking charge of a league one team. Mmmm .., did you think Cotterill warranted managing such a massive club after his failures at Burnley, Notts County, Portsmouth and Forest - it's a funny old game eh

I dont think they would want him and i dont think he would want them.
If i was recruiting a manager id want to see someone be successfull over a substantial period of time. DC has achieved what was expected of him part of the way through his first full season as manager with us with some encouraging signs following a brief spell in league 2 where he failed.
If i was a young and ambitious manager i would not want to join a small club with a small fanbase dropping through the leagues like a stone.

Not many young, ambitious and so far reasonably successful (in the Conference) Managers with DCs experience out there. Yeovil probably checking who is currently out of a job but if they were looking for someone with potential then DC could fit that bill.
Personally think it's almost definite that Terry Skiverton will stay in charge. He knows the club inside out, is cheapish and has the respect of the fans.

Very happy to see the end of 3 year deals. His signings have been hit or miss but that hasnt been a big problem as he has been sensible with short term loans where they dont work out. Our recruitment appoach has not changed, still no scouting system and all down to the manager to do everything. If we are succeasfull DC deserves huge credit but if he leaves we are back to square one as we have no scouts and lose his research.

But Rovers in league 5 is like Man City / Leeds in league 3. Everyone expecting us to be at least where we are. I dont think DC will get a lot of interest until he gets us performing above the level we should be at.

From Yeovil perspective: Probably need an experienced head to stop the rot, somebody who can get the best out of players on a minimal budget and has proven success. They'll want a manager who the fans will back from the start. Not sure DC fits into all of this.
From DC perspective: An ambitious and confident manager who was gutted at us getting relegated and has a great chance of getting promoted at the first time of asking. Bigger fanbase, more potential, potential stadium and a lot of unfinished business. Could easily be in the same league as Yeovil if not next season than the season after. Moving to Yeovil would probably = 2 relegations in a row, neither of which his fault entirely, but still looks very bad on a CV at the age of 37.
Seems a terrible match for both parties so can't see it happening.
