I like Midly but jeez. Maybe if he wasn't holding onto Brown he could've used both hands to punch it clear.

Must admit looking at that, how could they say he scored from the corner? Own goal Mildy. But he was being fouled and held surely. The pitch is worse than i imagined. Reminds me of the pitches on the "Germans field" in Yate back in the 70's Disgraceful

From that angle it looks like the (un necessary imho) grabbing of Brown also put the Dartford player in a Brown / Mildy sandwich, so pretty 50/50 really, although ref won't have had clear view of that. And Mildy did get to the ball, might have been given if he hadn't

What Mildenhall should have known is that the Dartford player had already scored twice from a corner this season; something our scouting should have told him!!!!! Interesting comments from their fans... puredfc.com/forums/index.php?topic=1546.75

Think many refs would have given that as a foul against the keeper - their player backing in and wrapping his arm around mildenhall.

There's no way Mildenhall would have been moving away from the ball if he wasn't being pushed by the Darts player. It does seem the refs play by different rules in the Conference!

The same way he does in every other corner. by shoving the player away and not grabbing his own players

No....he would have known that backing off towards the far post is not the best position when the corner taker has shown expertise in scoring directly from corners.

Interesting comments from their fans... puredfc.com/forums/index.php?topic=1546.75Makes it all the more gutting having read the Darts' match day thread. A few of the posters said it was their best performance of the season. It's always interesting reading from the opposite perspective. They are right, in the reams of replies to threads since the game we have given them no credit and probably do come across like a bunch of moaning Billy big bollockses. We've been in that situation before, accusing bigger clubs of a lack of humility. I think their reaction to the draw is understandable, and for the record, I think our reaction to the draw, born out of frustration, is understandable too given our position fighting for points at the top of the league. Hope they stay up.

Interesting comments from their fans... puredfc.com/forums/index.php?topic=1546.75Interesting to see one of their armchair supporters was not impressed Here are his comments "Makes the commentary I listened to seem almost unbiased (which it was'nt). I'm glad he's their manager, as sore losers like that are embarrassing. If they were such a masterclass, why did'nt they win? Why could'nt they keep our poor attack out? Why did'nt their full time squad of professionals adapt better to the conditions, or don't they have rain in the west country? Basically, they're in the same league as us because they were so abjectly useless last year, and a lot of people attached to their club seem to believe their useless season makes them something special this time out. It does, but probably not the way they think. As an afterthought, does anyone know if they are in financial problems, as after yesterday, it would genuinely make me happy if at they end of the season, they dropped down a couple more leagues."

No....he would have known that backing off towards the far post is not the best position when the corner taker has shown expertise in scoring directly from corners. Is that a joke? He was trying to follow the flight of the ball and most of the time a player scores from a corner it goes in at the back post. He missed his punch that was the problem not moving backwards, if he didn't move backwards the ball might have gone over him anyway.
