Hi all,
This section of the forum seems particularly underused, which is strange considering how many of you like a bet.
Is ther any interest in posting any systems you may use to make a few bob? I'm happy to post some if anyone else is. Won't bother if no-one is interested though!!

I'm certainly interested in learning. I don't have a system but seem to waste money on what feels like a great idea at 1430 every Saturday afternoon!
I tend to pick correct score results x4 and bet them as a Yankee. On occasion I'll pick up a double for a few hundred quid for £30 out.

It can be a steep learning curve. But once learned it is very repetitive. if you decide to start let me know and I will give you do's and don'ts which will enable you to make the most out of MBing.

I've had a quick look. Most headlines talk about using free bets to cover all outcomes which ensures a cash return. Assuming there's a way to do the same with real money though? In football or is it better with other sports?

When you do it with real money you will most of the time loose a little. For example if it was a £20 bet you may loose approx 50p. But when you do it with the free bet you will make about 80% of the value of the free bet. If you use a matched betting calculator it will do the sums for you. There is one on oddsmonkey.
You can do any sport. But most of my bets were on football because of the vast liquidity and number of matches.

Don't do baseball. I would not advise horse racing when you start as the prices change quickly,

Hello Corfu.
I did it first in 2007 but did not make much as I made loads of mistakes. But I left it 6 years and I was able to do it again because all of my accounts (approx 90) had been closed. I made a klling the 2nd time with the experience of the first attempt. I trade on betfair now so I have no need for bookmakers accounts. The problem with bookmakers is if you do find a way to make money from them they close your account. Interestingly they recently make it illegal in Australia to close winning accounts. Betfair don't care if you win so no problem there.
