Istm city are one of the least likely clubs to be taken over, as they're one of the few clubs with a massively wealthy owner, who is also a genuine fan.

Did The Sun overlook the money owed to SL as who's going to invest in a club with a £50m debt? They could buy a Championship club for that sum alone?

Surely that £50m will be about £75m by the time the Trashton rebuild is complete? They're certainly not funding it through sales of raffle tickets and meat and potato pies.

Amazing how much money he's spent and yet they're still in the same league as when he started.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31040959Sheffield Wednesday: Thai group buys Championship club Sheffield Wednesday have been taken over by a Thai consortium led by businessman Dejphon Chansiri. Chansiri, whose family owns Thai Union Frozen Group, has acquired a 100% stake in the Championship club. (It's a canned and frozen fish company) Let the fish puns begin. You have to say, if you can buy Sheffield Wednesday, you wouldn't want to bother with Rovers.

Keep up Topper, SL wrote of most of that loan some time ago. Istr he wrote off about 35 million, leaving about 20 million, plus they've lost about 15 million since then, plus what the stadium's costing, I guess the debt is pushing back up around 50 million.

But if NH marches off taking most of the Sainsbury's compensation with him, you could probably buy BRFC for about £2.75.
