Carlisle no mid week game so they should be fresh Sat. Hope we can win at Reading AND Brunton Park but expect the support Sat won't be quite as big!! Last time I went DC replaced Monty with Liam Lawrence very early in the game but he could hardly run!! We lost 3-2 with Snakey and Billy Bob scoring.Sadly we had the option to call it off due to International call ups but chose not to.Still got promoted though!!
Travelled from Staffordshire for that game which wasn't quite as bad as some.

That was a longggg trip home on the R.A.T.S bus thinking we had totally shanked our chance of promotion. The Carlisle winner was 90th min if I remember. Will be at Reading & then Brunton Park for a 4th visit, can’t wait. |

A club with horrendous debts which could put them out of business playing in a 24000 stadium will host a match which will have an attendance of circa 13000 because they will not
sell anymore tickets!

They were down to 9 men last home game. Reading won't be easy. It's a good test for the Mango Whel that perhaps we have an alchemist within our midst? It's a tricky situation if the caretaker manager continues to get the best out of the players and results reflect that ... |

And just for good measure.... I never tire of watching that game Indeed. It's nothing to do with Reading but so what? That was one hell of a side. We could do with a Smash and Grab now. I read the following on a Brighton fan website, which I never knew before in all those years: "Strangely, all the goals in this game were scored by players in Albion shirts. This was because Bristol Rovers’ red and white away kit was deemed by ITV’s producers to be too similar to Brighton’s blue and white shirts, for those watching in black and white." Red and white? 😱 |
