Hello fellow Gasheads, well here we go again with a new season and our guess the crowd competition.
For those newcomers and old hats here are the rules for the 2023/24 season.
Please read them because they have changed.
For newcomers the game is simple for each game I put up a notice asking you for two guesses. The first is the total crowd for the game, and the second is for the total away support within that total.
Each person as one entry but that can be amended any time up until 2 hours before kick off regardless of kick off time. Any entries or alterations after that time will be discounted.
The nearest 5 guesses to the total crowd will be allocated points 5,4,3,2,1 and the same for the total away support. For F A Cup games and replays if any the above points are doubled.
The results and a league Table is issued after every game.
Only stats from the official BRFC website are used any stats from other websites are ignored.
My decision is final although I am open to bribes!
There are no prizes at the end of the season but there will be plenty of fun and banter on the way, watch out for cowboys who use drones to count the crowd and others that have an uncanny way of seeing into the future with their accuracy .
