Right, The Nuneaton task is a simple one - I want you to go away and bring back three points. It's a game you really should win and i expect you to do so.
Before you go can you just remind me who played Barnet off the park a few weeks ago? Who destroyed a good Macclesfield team last week? Yes it was you and i want to see the same determination today. I'm gonna be straight with you i get a little uptight when you struggle to win these games against teams you should be comfortably beating, and i don't wanna be hearing any bloody excuses about how they lifted their game, ref was cr@p bla bla bla. You all keep telling me you can get promoted, well its time to start walking the walk.
Right, Darrell you're the team leader of this task and i hope you've learned from a few mistakes we talked about in the board room, in other words - play your bleedin best team from the start. The rest of you, i wanna see some football, for your information we're not playing Nuneaton RFC so don't punt the bloody ball up field! Just cause the transfer window is now open... i haven't managed to get Peter Sodding Crouch on loan! So i wanna see your footballing skills, you've obviously got some so use 'em. From what i hear a fair few Gasheads are coming up there to support you and i expect you to reward their loyalty, unlike everywhere else in January the tickets aren't in any bloody sale and you don't get refunds, so let's have full value for the price tag please.

GGMI - I couldn't resist. Can I offer an advance on 2-0? You would be disappointed if I didn't suggest something better. Would 4-0 be ground breaking away from home? I know we can do it at home. Is it possible? No one expects it and so my definition makes it ground-breaking. 4-0 it is although I'll take 3-0. Time to bounce our way to the top of this league. |

Surprised that FGR have signed Stuart Fleetwood again. Thought their Chickpea Chairman might have splashed the cash. They could've been a real danger in the playoffs.
