If they don't go up they are going to get in some serious money troubles.

Surely it's the other way round ? In the conference a club can spend whatever they like on wages? If they win promotion they'll be spending way over the fair play rules ?

Should be brilliant in the Conference despite being the wrong side of 30 now.

Not played a lot of football recently, could be a massive gamble. Much like the centre-half they signed who has barely kicked a ball for them.

Meh. Released by a struggling Oxford in League Two and can't be anything close to fully fit.
Not too bothered.

I agree, clubs like FGR and Eastleigh make these marquee signings but they are not in it for the right reasons. Big name + small club with no fans = in it for the cash. I want a Rovers team that gives 100% and a club that budgets to break even. We have 50% of that at least.

Right so at the mement they can spend what they want but if they go up they can only spend a percentage of their income- not very much going on their gates.

I wonder how they get on with fair play?

I wonder how they get on with fair play? Yeah and Crawley have done it too. I don't really get how these clubs get away with it but there must be plenty of loopholes.

I wonder how they get on with fair play? There's an exemption for the first season in the league, plus Fleetwood's chairman has based his business at their ground and so he can just say the club a massive rent.

In-laws live in Fleetwood and that's exactly what their owner does. His utility company rents offices in the ground, no doubt at inflated rates
